The pibil tacos here are just outstanding- incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor. This is a unique little taco stand- I don't know anywhere else that serves up food in their style. Simply awesome.

Whenever I'm in the neighborhood I have to go to this parking lot and wait in the long line (which tells you it's worth it) and get the very simple, but amazing burrito. There's a certain flavor, I'm assuming from a region of Mexico, a

This place is definitely a must if you are in the area. The food is delicious, no seriously amazing! I always get the carne asada burrito and delight in every bite. There are small tables and chairs outside to eat at, and the liquior store across the parking lot is where I get my soda. Everyone is friendly and the service is great. Next time I go I will try the carne asada fries!

By closet, I mean it literally. Across the street from Albertson's on Hillhurst, Yuca's square footage of parking is ten times larger than the building (if you could even call it that) itself. It's family owned and has won many awards over the years for their excellent burritos and tacos. Los Feliz and Silverlake locals are known to frequent the place, along with the entertainment executive and celebrity regulars.
My favorite order has got to be their carne asada fries. Though they are a bit small, their bangin' taste has got you licking every last bit of of it. I never let a single minced onion escape my lips.
Since there is only 3 people working Yuca's at one time, (not including the sweet grandma that takes your orders and always spells your name wrong), the wait can be a bit long, but it's always worth it. The people that eat there are always friendly, which makes the ambiance quite un-Los Angeles-like.

Whenever burritos are mention, this is the first place that comes to mind. Been going here for over 14 years now and it still the best in my opinion, not the best looking but who cares when it so good..Definitely worth stopping by if you

There's not a Lot of variety this place can offer, but what it's got it's got good. People are right about the puerco pibil-- it's fantastic and the feature of the menu. It's a real fun place to stop and grab some food.

Pros: hey, it's in a parking lot.
Cons: might be nice if it could have a Little more shade and seating under it.
Machaca is my new favorite word. Stewed, stringy beef! In a burrito with some pinto beans. Warm flour tortilla wrapping it all up. About the size of a small envelope, not the rolled stomach bombs served up at Mexican McDonalds' like BJ

Pros: Convenient Walk-up Location with parking. Next door to liquor store for BYOB. Cheap.
Cons: Not open late. Not open on Sunday.
You get a lot of food for a good price. They make one mean Burrito. I'm salivating just thinking about them now. Only downside to this place is that it's only open 11am - 4pm. But if you can make it, you will be rewarded with delicious meats and tortillas
4No they don't have chicken. The tiny shack/kitchen can only handle so many ingredients and cooking supplies, and pork is their specialty. All you need to know about Yuca's is the "cochinita pibil burrito". Get it, you will like it. Do not

Pros: Cochinita pibil
Cons: gets crowded sometimes, but worth the wait
Upon reading rave reviews about this place I decided to go and check it out. I stood in line in a cramped space that I shared along with other people who tried to manage eating without elbowing the people inches away from them in line. My

I do not see what all of the hype is about. This place is very much mediocre. If Yuca's is not close to you no worries. I wouldn't recommend going out of my way for this food. As commented by prior reviews the burritos are a bit small and

The guys 1st review is so way off, either they're nuts or a competitor. The burritos have no grease at all, come on. Grease, that's funny. These are just great little burritos with tons of flavor with or without hot sauce. Lard a problem?

Yuca's is a little hidden taco stand that can very easily be overseen, but worth searching for. If you are the type of person that can taste the difference between one burrito to another, than you will definitely appreciate Yuca's food. I

Pros: Service is great it's like talking to you aunt Maria.
Cons: it's far from my house.
Yuca's is a quick walk from my home, so I have eaten here fairly regularly for years. As tasty as the burritos are (and I crave the carne asada ones), what I really love are the tacos. Braised, juicy meat (I favour the carnitas) nestled in

This is the ultimate neighborhood taco stand: always friendly, quick, cheap, and the food is mindblowingly delicious. The burrito is basically perfect, with mouthwatering shredded beef or pork, tender beans, and a dry floury tortilla. Try

Pros: Great food, cheap, unpretentious
Cons: No veggie options, small menu, often closed at night
There tacos and burritos are simply amazing. I think the carnitas are the best thing on the menu but everything else is great. My wife (a true Mexican) loves the beans and that says a lot. She'll hardly eats Mexican food at most places,

I love Yucas. I've been eating there for over 20 years. I call Mama Mama. By far the best quick Mexican food in L.A. They have been there forever, and just ask any steady customer, it is a great place for a quick meal. Those in the know,

The food is OK, but nothing like Titos Tacos. It is a hole in the wall and the day I was there, the health inspector was arguing with owner about lack of proper refrigeration and proper sanitation. After getting sick at Purans (Next door),

There is something about the soft flour tortillas and the flavor of the slow cooked tender pork that just can't be matched. Its the perfect saturday morning hangover fix. Greasy enough to the booze out of your system, but not so heavy that

Cons: closed sunday, no vegetarian menu, very limited seating

Based on the great Citysearch reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I was terribly dissapointed. First off, the burritos have very little flavor in comparison to other great taquerias.
Also, they don't have a choice of salsas to

The difference between YUCA's and many other burrito stands/restaurants is, no rice, no filler. Personally, I think this is the way a burrito should taste... the flavors come through without interruption, and man, these are the best!

Yuca's delivers as one of the best LA taco stands around. Coming from San Diego where the taco stands are legendary, Yuca's reminds me of home.

A wonderful shack in Los Feliz that has legions of fans. The carne asada tacos and burritos are the best. Try the Yucatan soft taco as well.

I had been living in LA for about 12 years (I've moved since) but I would go there to Yucca's every single weekend on Saturdays to pick up there carnitas, best carnitas you can ever taste !
The family is really nice as well.

Being a huge fan of authentic mexican tacos, I was plesantly surpised at my first bite of the carne asada taco from Yuca's...warm torita's, perfectly marinated asada, onion and cilantro...the best taco this side of cabo after a hard night

This is the best deal in Los Feliz for quick, scrumptuous Mexican food. There is usually a line, so be prepared to wait for your sloppy bean burritos and tacos asada. The food is "hearty" Mexican fare -- they don't offer a vegetarian
