Like one reviewer said, there can be lines, but that's if you go during the peak hours. If you're able to get there early enough, the food is great and Primo definitely has a character of its own - which is why folks keep coming back. It's also close by to a yogurt and ice cream shop so after a good pizza, you can walk and get a nice dessert without have to hop in your car!

So the long lines and wait for a table here don't lie, this place has always been the hottest place in town for pizza and will most likely stay that way. Primos is a family friendly restaurant known for its messy pizza. You can get other items off the menu but why kid yourself. If you can stand the wait to get a table then it's worth it but if not then you can always call an order in for pick up.

This place has some great deals! I went there with my relatives who live in Danville a couple summers ago and wow. Most Italian restaurants are really expensive, but this is one of the most cheap places that I've ever seen. Their pasta range from $10-12. There is also this great family meal deal with salad, breadsticks, soup and pasta for $37. A whole family of four couldn't even finish all of it.

The pizza at Primo's is top-notch! They have lots of speciality pizzas and the traditional ones too! Their atmosphere is family-friendly with a small vido arcade room to keep the kids busy.
I enjoy their lunch specials, sandwiches, and salads too!!
Good price, good food!

We had lunch at Primos Pizza and it was good - the restaurant was not too crowded. The service was good, and the pizza was good.
One large pizza is more than enough for four people.
Price was reasonable - it came out to about $20 person.
Primos Pizza is located on Mt Diablo BLVD.

Nice remodel on the bar, several flat screen T.V.'s. The pizza was just as I remember as a kid, "very tasty."
May want to order lite cheese as they pile it on. We took the family on a slower night ,service was adequate.
Has been there for going on 30 years, they must be doing something well.

First, Primos is a Danville hangout and lot's of familys go to hang and see their friends. And I laud Primo's for being so active in the community and sponsoring charity events. But c'mon the food? I've been 3 times with my family and now I don't go back. I've tried the Pizza and a pasta dish each time. The pizza sits in a pool of grease on the tray and is soooooo soggy. As for the pasta, let's just say it's not their thing. I make better pasta dishes at home using off the shelf sauce. The service is usually slow, I guess because it is busy. I so want Primos to be good, but sadly it is not and there is no positive review that is going to change that fact. There is much better pizza available in town form other pizzerias. Hey Primos, call me when your food is better.

Pros: Local community support!!!!!!!
Cons: Indifferent food
Primos used to be much better. It's seen far better days. Food is mediocre. Service is lousy. Don't bother.

Pros: It's just a run down pizza joint with mediocre pizza. That's the best I can say about it
Cons: Parking lot is small. Food is mediocre. Service is pathetic. Don't waste your time.
This is one of my favortie pizza places to go to. The place is really comforting and just like any other pizza place. There a little game room in the back for the kids too. The place is evry spacious but make sure to get there early because it can get crowded. the food is amazing, they offer various pastas in addition to pizza.

I enjoyed my visit to Primo's. We had a pretty good salad and a tasty pizza. I've heard some people call it a New York style pizza but can't say from experience having never been to New York. I consider it "heavy on the cheese" with a thick layer of melted cheese. Not sure I'd like it often but as a change of pace from other pizzas it was wonderful.
