Numerous criminal charges filed against this dealer. Took my money, it took 12 mos. to get my title after a lengthy investigation. They took my money for a warranty, pocketed the cash and did not send in paper work. Why is there not a 0 star rating?

BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought my car 6 months ago and paid cash in full for my car. Dealer waited over a month to submit the $15 transfer fee to DMV, then never submitted any of the transfer papers. I spoke with the owner of the dealership and he assured me that he had sent the paperwork in. Now it is being investigated by DMV because I never received the title yet. He has several other cars where the paperwork is being held up. BE VERY CAREFUL. I would have never purchased a car here if I knew I would be dealing with this major title transfer problem. ESPECIALLY, from a dealer!

We bought our daughter's first car here a couple of months ago and got a good car even though we didn't have much money to spend. The owner has gone out of his way to resolve several issues that have come up since we bought the car. He did take a little longer than usual to pay the DMV fees, but we got everything in the mail shortly after he said he submitted the documents. We will be buying a car soon and this will be the first place we go.

I spoke with the owner of the dealership 3 months ago and he assured me that he had sent everything in. He told me that it was normal for it to take up to 4 mos. to get the title, it's been nearly 6 mos.now and I have received nothing!

Auto Marin has been in Novato for quite some time now. Most of their cars are in very good conditions and they are sold for very cheap. They do not buy any cars older than 1995, although they may have some for sale. Their mechanics are also very good, so they can see your car if you are having problems with it.
