I gave this school five stars because simply its the best period. Look at this school, its plain to anyone to see they spare no expense when it comes to treating these kids right. They have an very up to date education program, fantastic teachers, very friendly staff, the children are really well off. I value my child's education and so should you.

My child started here Septemeber 2010. When I first went to the school the staff all greeted me and my child with a smile and took us around to observe the different rooms. Each teacher said hello and even let my child join in on several of there activities. After visiting a few other schools nobody made me and my son feel more welcome than they did. My son started in Ms. Monica's toddler class and absolutely fell in love with her. She potty trained him in no time and recently he moved up into Ms. Betty's preschool class. I was very hesitant about the move because I was soooo happy with Ms. Monica. Ms. Monica took time during the day to help him adjust into his new classroom and in no time he did. He now loves Ms. Betty and her kind spirit. If you are looking to start in a preschool this is the place to go. Everybody here truely cares about each individual child.

So recently I, as well as a friend of mine went for a tour at this school and we had the same feelings towards it. I have to say some staff there don't seem to be as friendly as you would think working in a school for young children. The appearance is pleasing but I do not support a cirriculum and schedule that does not put learning as the primary objective. I do believe children need to begin learning at this age and not just be playing. They dont seem to observe the childrens progress or indicate in a report. I would clearly never pick a school solely on appearance and I do find first impressions as very important, which some staff did not pass. Also i would not recommend this school as i do not feel they will work with parents to increase my childs individual knowledge.

This school is ridiculous. Staff there is rude and incompetent especially in the front office. I should have believed the other negative reviews, that this school is all looks and no education. I have never put a negative review on anything before but I would never recommend this school. As a parent you need to make the best decisions for your children but this should definitely not be one of them.

I have sent my both daughters to Play N Learn Preschool and have been completely satisfied with both the staff and the curriculum. My eldest daughter completed successfully the preschool and the kindergarten program and was clearly ahead when she entered the first grade in public school. My youngest daughter entered the preschool program at the same age and I couldn't have been more comfortable leaving her every morning. In a short period of time she was already singing a variety of songs and identifying her colors and letters. Her vocabulary increased so much, that she was taking in full and clear sentences. The teachers are great and the fact that they would comfort my daughter until she was well adjusted made my mornings a lot less stressful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this preschool to anybody else. The tuition is well worth it! My children deserve the best and that's what they got at Play N Learn Preschool.

Play-N-Learn has got most of it's reputation from the marketing/advertisements that it is doing. The kids don't learn anything. My daughter went there for 4 months and was compalining almost everyday that one of the boys was harrasing her and on a couple of ocassion had beaten her. The caregivers were just talking around and paying much attention to the kids. If you love your kid, don't place him/her in this daycare.

My son attended Play 'N Learn from Preschool through Jr. Kindergarten and we couldn't be happier, especially with their phenomenal Jr. K program. Because of the solid academic foundation they offer, he was accepted to The Harker School, which is one of the best and most academically rigorous schools in the country. Only the top students are accepted into Harker's Kindergarten program, and Play N Learn had no problem meeting the challenge of preparing him thoroughly. Sure I like to think some of it is genetic! ;-) But in all seriousness, even the most brilliant child needs a good education and needs to be continually challenged. The Jr. K program at Play N Learn rivals (and in many ways beats out) the more famous academic preschool programs like Stratford and Challenger. It costs less, it is a full day program which includes lunch, 2 snacks, and care from 6:30am-6pm at no additional charge. There are dance and karate classes, field trips, school performances and countless visits to the school by musicians, wild animals, and other enrichments. Best of all, my son loved going to school there. It was fun! It was not stressful. Don't be fooled by the seemingly casual name and atmosphere. This place is first rate.

My children went to Play N Learn from ages 18months through 6 years old. They were completely prepared for kindergarten and have both become very self confident, socialized kids.
The teachers and staff are wonderful. It is great to walk in and have every teacher say hello to your child by name. They always have a smile on their face and make you feel welcome.
They offer a great curriculum that is posted each week for each classroom so you know exactly what they are doing. They also offer many special events - visitors, parties, etc. They even offer Friday night Parents Nights Out for a reasonable fee. The kids love it and you get a night out! It's great around the holidays when you have a lot of prep to do.
The Junior K is a great preparation for kindergarten. Both of my boys went through the program and it was world class. They offer a take-home book program each week, and do work that is comparable to what my children have done in public kindergarten classes since then. They also offer a Kindergarten class that has a great reputation but my children haven't been in that class.
They are open early morning until 6pm so it is a great option for working parents. Located near Hwy 87 and Capitol Expy.
