This little place is a jewel in a city with over stuffed, prissy whos who resturants. The owners make everyone feel like they are family and the food is superb. What more can anyone ask for in a tiny little charming place in their own

Cons: none, its crowded so make a reservations
A casual, fun place that attracts Brentwood locals and Angelenos alike, this little place with the big servings is always busy so don't go without a reservation. Your friends not too into pizza? Don't worry. Have them try the gnocchi,

Delicious home made Italian food with some great ingredients, including unusual dishes like spinach and cheese ravioli in a basil and tomato sauce. The risotto is just creamy enough and their salmon very moist and flavorful. Prices are moderate, main courses in the mid-teens. The main dining room is entered from the street. It is narrow because it shares a deli counter, where you can buy a variety of Italian delicacies. The upstairs dining area is more intimate and family friendly. The serving staff is welcoming and very helpful. Reservations suggested.

I found Pizzicotto using UrbanSpoon, and it is a new favorite of mine! I went with a friend, with whom I had visited Italy, and we enjoyed the excellent food and the memories it brought back. The Pollo Frescha is AMAZING!

Pros: great food in a fun atmosphere
Cons: um....nope
I get lunch take-out from here 2-3 times a week. The food is incredible - I am Italian and this food is authentic - not the Buca di Bepo/Maria's stuff. The service staff is always polite and attentive. I'm not sure who everyone is

Pros: food, staff
Cons: ambience is lacking a bit
I couldn't agree more about the woman who operates the place. She has to be the rudest, nastiest restaurant proprietor in LA. I think the food is pretty good for the price, but eating there is such an ordeal because she's just so rude.

I've heard recently that Brentwood is becoming the new Little Italy because of the numerous Italian restaurants around, however, Pizzicotto is by far my favorite spot. I've tried most of the others in the area and will say that for the most part all are delicious, but the local and homey feel of Pizzicotto makes this location a must dine-in. The owners and staff always remember us by name and welcome our friends. The specials are always worth a try, especially the cantaloupe, burrata cheese, tomato, & prosciutto. SO YUMMY! The pastas & pizzas are amazing and if there is something you'd like made, but isn't on the menu the chef's are more than happy to make it for you. Enjoy!

In short: I will not eat here again. All flair no taste, might be good for non-Italians.\r

I went to Pizzicotto with the hope that finally I would find a decent Italian restauarant. I enter and my hopes where raised as the place looked

This is my new favorite spot. PERFECT for lunch or dinner. The food was utterly fantastic (I had the tortellini Porcini mushroom pasta), and the service was excellent. We sat upstairs and had a lovely, easy going, and VERY tasty lunch

Cons: Not a lot of parking...
we just came from Pizzicotto in Brentwood. We had the flank steak and porchini rizzotto, it was the worst, absolute worst italian food we've ever had. Not only are the absurdly snobby at this place and they cram you into these tiny tables

The food here is so good. I always get their veal dish, it is my favorite. My boyfriend loves there white fish, I think it is Halibut. There garlic oil is so yummy, it is warm and melts in your mouth. They have great wine choices.

The closest thing to a warm, locals-only Italian spot (although nothing in Brentwood is for locals only). Cozy atmosphere and sharp waitstaff. LOVE the pizza and specials. But make sure you make a reservation!

I've been to Pizzacotta a number of times for both lunch and dinner and it's always really good. The staff are nice, the portions are plentiful and the food is great. That is until I saw them combining left over bread into the bread

I'd been eating at Pizzocotto for years, though always for lunch, and thought it was a very solid restaurant with good food, reasonable prices, and fine service. All that changed the first time I had dinner there. Yes, there was nothing

I had lunch here and I liked it. It's definitely a fairly small restaurant, so I can understand that you may have to wait to be seated here. But once you do sit down the food is good. They have a nice selection of Italian Beer as well.

I liked the ambiance and feel of this restaraunt, and think that the menu selection was large and varied - however, my portion size was typical of an appertizer, rather than main course.
Many other Italian restaraunts pride themselves on

We had a reservation, and we were still seated at an awful table crammed in a corner behind two other tables. Our entrees took an unbelievable 30 MINUTES to arrive. What was even more unbelievable was the fact that no one checked on us

I've lived in Brentwood for years, and I've given Pizzicotto three chances to surprise me. It's failed thrice. The thing is, despite the "Italian bistro" charm, the food just isn't that tasty. I don't know why. I've just been underwhelmed

This restaurant is SRO for the Friday night and Saturday crowd, but any regular will tell you it is worth the wait. The food is prepared so simply, yet mouth-wateringly delicious. Try the simple broth with mini ravioli, or the bruschetta. You would think it was invented hear. They have mastered the art of the thin pizza crust---not dry and not soggy---just right.
