Delicious home made Italian food with some great ingredients, including unusual dishes like spinach and cheese ravioli in a basil and tomato sauce. The risotto is just creamy enough and their salmon very moist and flavorful. Prices are moderate, main courses in the mid-teens. The main dining room is entered from the street. It is narrow because it shares a deli counter, where you can buy a variety of Italian delicacies. The upstairs dining area is more intimate and family friendly. The serving staff is welcoming and very helpful. Reservations suggested.

I found Pizzicotto using UrbanSpoon, and it is a new favorite of mine! I went with a friend, with whom I had visited Italy, and we enjoyed the excellent food and the memories it brought back. The Pollo Frescha is AMAZING!

I've heard recently that Brentwood is becoming the new Little Italy because of the numerous Italian restaurants around, however, Pizzicotto is by far my favorite spot. I've tried most of the others in the area and will say that for the most part all are delicious, but the local and homey feel of Pizzicotto makes this location a must dine-in. The owners and staff always remember us by name and welcome our friends. The specials are always worth a try, especially the cantaloupe, burrata cheese, tomato, & prosciutto. SO YUMMY! The pastas & pizzas are amazing and if there is something you'd like made, but isn't on the menu the chef's are more than happy to make it for you. Enjoy!
