I ate here with two of my friends, and I think that all of us walked out with the biggest smiles you have ever seen. I am a huge fan of sauces, and Vesta has the greatest selection of the most unique, flavorful sauces I have ever seen. The chips and salsa comes with five or six different salsa's that vary from sweet to spicy. We each ordered three different sauces with our dinners (Ahi Tuna, Swordfish, and Salmon), so it was like getting nine different flavors of dinner. The desert was just as amazing. Including drinks, apps, dinner, and desert, we spent around $160, and it was worth every penny. This place is so amazing, I recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic evening. A must try.

Outshining the usual of customary restaurant places, Vesta implies a rich splendor into the unknown. The food here suggest the highest conceivable degree of radiance one gets upon having a taste of their ahi tuna ceviche, superb sauces and the gorgeous display of food color and textures. A friend I brought here said the food is orgasmic!! Oh, did I mention illustrious service? I dropped a fork, the bartender looks over and gave me another one in 2 seconds flat.

I've lived in New York City for eight years, am putting this in my list of 10 best restaurants.

This is one of the best restaurants that I have been to since I moved to the city a few months ago. My husband's expectations were not high but he was surprisingly dissapointed. We had reservations which i highly recommend. The service was impecable, food to die for, and a very cool/relaxed atmosphere. It was loud but fun. Get the vesta roll, venison, taffy dipping apple!!! Only bad thing was parking- I would definately go here again in a heartbeat.

I had a great time here. I eat out often and this was a special concept. I wish we had something like it in Chicago. The drink menu needs help. They all sound good, but I tried most, and they're not.

We were in from out of town and came to Vesta on a recommendation from our concierge. Vesta was everything that was promised. Our Server Kit was excellent and very helpful with the menu. There were seven of us and we sat in a very cool round booth that really created a great dining atmosphere. The food was so good and creative, so many different flavors, it was hard not to share. Vesta was a pleasant surprise from the beginning and I will surely recommend it to all my friends.

I've been going to Vesta for a while and my best friend and his wife go with their two children a couple times a month and their kids love it! They have a kids menu and even have cups with lids on them for small children. I believe the owners even have a child or two and seen them in there eating also. It's great place to go on a date or with the family. Two thumbs up!

With so many restaurants on the rise in Denver, competition is fierce, and Vesta doesn't seem to keep up.
The service is so-so, and the place looks like it's falling apart.
I'd heard a lot of good things, but wasn't too impressed!
It's too loud to be romantic, and not kid friendly either.
Too many other places out there for me to go back again.

When visiting my sister we went to this restaurant and it was awesome. We got the dipping sampler which was a bunch of sauces to dip pita bread in. The server recommended the sauces. We all had incredible meals, the meat was so tender. When you walk in you know it is a cool place. The atmosphere and the decor are just so hip. Highly recommend!!

So many restaurants in Denver simply don't measure up, but Vesta is everything it advertises to be and more. The food is superb, the setting beautiful and romantic. I have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The only negative thing I have to say is that some of the servers have that "I'm hip and you are just Joe Average"mentality, but other than that, this is a wonderful restaurant to go to.

The Vesta crew has delivered first class service consistently since I first went there four years ago - making it my absolute favorite spot. Vesta caters to every palate and every style. The food is sublime and unlike any other menu in town. The warm and inviting ambiance lives up to it's name (goddess of the hearth)...but it's the talented staff of servers, bartenders, hosts, chefs, and managers that make it divinely special.

I've dined there alone, on dates, and in groups and have always been treated like royalty...regardless of the day, time, or server.

I've commited their phone number to memory...so should you.

Warning: Don't be charmed by imitations or less-than-wonderful knock off's...there's only one Vesta! ;)

*150 words is not enough to describe this wonderful place!*

My girlfriends and I were looking for a fun night out.....Vesta fulfilled our every need. We arrived, greeted with a very accomodating hostess, and directed to the bar.
We were a little upset we couldn't get in right away, being a Monday, but we had SUCH a great time with the bartenders. We only had about a half hour to wait, but when our table was ready, we actually felt sad we had to leave our barstaff buddies. Try the mojitos, they're awesome! Their specialty cosmos are worth a try too.
Even though the place was packed, our round booth was great- it provided a little privacy in such a busy restaurant. I definitely recommend reserving one of these booths if you can. Our server was fun and very helpful with recommendations. The food was amazing! We had such a great girls night out. We will be back soon.

Good food. Unfortunately, the wait staff was missing for most of the meal. Others tables looked the same. We sat down and waited 10 minutes until the manager walked by our table. He asked (without being prompted) if he could get us drinks while he tracked down our waiter. We received our drinks. We waited for another 10 minutes and the manager came by and noticed we still had our menus in front of us and asked if we wanted to order any appetizers. We ordered one and received it prior to our main course order even being taken. We were eating the appetizer with our menus still in front of us. The waiter eventually came but continued to be very hard to locate to ask for additional things or receive the bill. I don't know if I would go back unless the staffing issue was resolved.

Vesta is a little overrated. The food is fine, and different in that it's all served with dips. I've been here a number of times, and while it's a fall back on my list of restaurants...it's no longer my favorite or even at the top of my list. Maybe I'm just sick of the place. It's been around for a decent number of years, and it's ALWAYS packed. It just seems a little rushed and the hosts always have an attitude.

I've been to Vesta twice and both times were excellent. Our table was a bit cramped due to the restaurant being extremely packed so I would recommend a booth. The venison and salmon are to die for. Exceptional wine and bar menu - my favorite restaurant in Denver!

I have not been to Vesta in some time, at least 3 years...and it's still good! My husband and I sat at the bar because it was an hour wait for a table without a reservation. We got excellent service - the bar staff was very attentive, fun and friendly. We had access to the same menu in the bar as we would have at a table. I had the special (NY Strip), my husband ordered off the menu (Lamb Loin) - both were delicious! Was a great date place, even for a married couple. Might be a bit loud for a larger group. Romantic and cozy - great atmosphere with candles lit here and there. We will go back!

I am fairly new to Denver and have had little time to really explore the food scene. From the few places I have been I can come to one conclusion about Vesta, It was great. From the moment I walked in the door I was enjoying the warm inviting atmosphere and the music was fun, different and very appealling. We did have a short wait in the bar because we didn't have reservations, but we were here on a recomidation of a friend and it was well worth the wait. The food was excellent and the sauces, what a great idea!, were so good themselves and a perfect compliment to our meals.
The whole evening went well, do in part to the well educated and very attractive staff. I say if you haven't tried Vesta yet it is a must when you are in Denver.

This place is awesome. My girlfriend and I have been there twice. The first time was late , and the place was packed. The host recommended dinner at the bar. We were reluctant, but were informed that we could have the menu at the bar. We were well taken care of. We oredered salads, a Vesta roll (incredible), a cheese plate (where do they get so many cool cheeses?) a shrimp satay and a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent, from service to food...we felt very special. The second time, we made reservations... packed again, but our waitress never missed a beat. We had the chicken and the steak. The sauces were amazing. We saved room for dessert, "matty's apple" came highly recommended...we were not dissapointed. This place is so special to us, we can't wait to return again and again. Maybe our third time there will be a proposal?!

I recently took my girlfriend into Vesta on the recommendation of a friend, and he definately gets a gold star! From the fun, lively atmosphere to the great service and even better food, we had a perfect date. The venison was one of the best entrees i've had and i don't remember what she had because i was intent upon cleaning my plate. We both left very happy, full, and we plan on going back soon. :)

Vesta Dipping Grill consistently ranks in the top 10 for Denver restaurants. Unfortunately, when I visited Vesta, it did not live up to its reputation. While the food is good, I would expect a meal for that price to be of a higher caliber. If the entire concept of the restaurant lies with the dipping sauces, majority of them should be irresistibly good. This was not the case; as I've said, the food was just okay. I could have found a more savory sauce in a bottle of hoisin from the local grocery store. To top it off, our service was hasty at best, the restaurant was excruciatingly loud, and we were stuck at a smallish table in the middle of a walkway (perhaps the price you pay for looking young?). For the price, I would expect attentive service, a more intimate atmosphere, and needless to say, exceptional food.

Last night was my fourth visit to Vesta, and I've never been disappointed. We started with the dip sampler, a nice way to get your palate going, and the edamame. For entrees, our party ordered the mole grilled lamb loin, the grilled beef tenderloin skewers, and the yucatan grilled pork tenderloin. The side dish of vanilla rice that comes with the pork is simply amazing! Vesta encourages you to try their recommended sauces for each dish or to try three of your own picks. The peanut sauce, roasted corn sauce, black pepper aioli, and green curry sauce were some of our favorites. The wine list is not huge but features some great mid-priced choices to go with your meal. The white chocolate bread pudding and the creme brulee were very good for dessert. A great date spot and a must-try if you're visiting Denver.

This is definitely a place to go if you are looking for a romantic evening with someone special. My boyfriend has taken me here for my past two birthdays and both experiences have been truly memorable. The quality of the food, wine and waitstaff have few comparisons in the Denver area.

Vesta is by far one of the best places I have found in all of Colorado thus far, and very much is "my kind of place". The food is wonderful, and the ambience is nothing short of a truly awesome place to sit in...when you are there you don't want to be anywhere else! I recomment this place to anyone who enjoys a great glass of wine with a unique meal, good company, and a cool warm environment engulfing you! Thanks Vesta!

Very very good food. Though I went there with a bunch of colleagues for a business dinner, I can see it being good for a date or a place to bring out of town guests. Everything was delicious and I have no gripes about the service, at least on my last visit. Nice concept, but part of me really hopes that innovative chefs city-wide kind of jump more on the tasty, small, tapas-inspired stuff they serve here. I'll be heading back.

Just visiting Denver and someone suggested this place. I more typically dine at simple, less expensive restaurants, but decided to take my wife out to a nice dinner. I was not disappointed in the slightest. I had the Seared Tuna and thought that every bite was a delight!! I just hope they open one in San Francisco!!

Friendly, unpretensious, great food. Loved Kitt; good wine list; we had the tenderloin, the ceviche, the vesta roll, the vegetarian napolean, the sauce sampler, and we would have tried more if we had brought more people. Nice to see Jan behind the bar. Overall great experience. They found the balance between hip and welcoming. This place still rocks!

while the concept is good, the staff are horribly undertrained in food and service. I think it's a problem when on two occasions, I have to explain exactly how seared tuna should be made, or why a wine is bad, it's a problem.

I won't be going back and will not recommend this place anymore

A great dining experience! I was in Denver for one night and asked my hotel concierge for a restaurant recommendation that was "uniquely Denver." Vesta was his recommendation and it was awesome!

The food was excellent (especially the ahi tuna rolls for an appetizer) and the service was prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend Vesta to anyone!

I would highly recommend Vesta to anyone!

.

Unique entrees, very tasty and good value. Excellent old Denver atmosphere.

I have moved to Denver about 6 Months ago, and have searched for a good place to go in this town. Vesta is a place where you can go, with a company or not, and meet nice and interesting people. It has great drinks, great salad, and a nice environment. It is not a sports bar, no mullets and not poorly dressed people. If you want to stay away from rednecks, Vesta is the place to go.

Don't listen to the ciritics....I lived in Denver for four years, and Vesta was my favorite restaurant all four years. Every sauce is delicious, and the filet mignon is such a perect cut of meat, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. Awesome wine list, comfortable for big parties, but romantic for a quiet evening. The waitstaff is always accomodating, and even brought me a free piece of cake (with out being asked) when he over heard I had recently graduated from college.

Vesta is amazing. Try the duck. You will cream your pants. The interior is cool and the seats are sweet. Vesta is possibly the top restaurant in town. Enjoy.

This was my first experience at such a place. The decor was neat and unusual in that they had copped plated menus, and pipe fittings for napkin holders, but the food was the best part. There are so many dipping sauces and that was what made this so neat. I couldn't help but try everybody else's food, and none of it was bad. I would recomend this place.

Pros: Different, Excellent tastes, Laid back atmosphere

Cons: Expensive, Have to make res.

Vesta knows the key to success with the LoDo crowd;funky atmosphere, booming techno music, loud bar, and a condescending staff, combined with a novel approach. Cramped tables, swanky snooty staff , and different food do not equate to great. Anyway, once you get by the indifferent attitude of the staff the food is pretty good. The samosas are good dippers, but the grilled shrimp were a touch musty. The grilled ahi was good, made better by the excellent wasabi cream, though the accompanying noodles were pedestrian. The bone in pork loin is the best thing on the menu, but skip the chutney sauce. The red jerk mayo was excellent, as was the mango poblano salsa. Skip dessert. The creme brulee was perhaps the worst ever, overcooked and cheesy; the caramel apple thing is too strange. Too expensive for the value; won't be back.

Vesta is the hip, happenin' restaurant in Denver. The nouveau industrial decor with the exposed brick wall and metal beams provide the feel of a fun new place. The food presentation is pleasing to the eye and the 20+ sauces to choose from for each entree offer a creative spin on typical menu choices. Some of the sauces need more "body", especially when sampling with pita bread, but most are pretty well balanced - do not pass up the orange blossom soy or the yellow curry. My favorite memory of the whole experience was the bread accompanied by a whole roasted garlic bulb served after we ordered. Oil and salt and pepper were already on the table and the combination, though simple, was definitely a treat. The service was a little rushed and unnatural, but bring good company and you won't really notice it.

We went for the first time for my birthday, and we loved it! I had the duck (amazing) and my boyfriend had the beef skewers. Our server, Kit, was super--he was so helpful and knowledgable about the food. We will absolutely go back.

I never knew that "taste" had such a range. Vesta's sauces are incredible. Their creativity is wonderful. Their staff and owners know your name and care about their community.

Vesta is the place to see and the place to be seen in Denver. The food is some of the best I've had (try the duck, so delectable!) The service is always above and beyond. The atmosphere is filled with electrictiy and beat bountiful music. The bar is thick, curvy, concrete and 40 feet long! The staff, is by far, the SEXIEST in Denver! Whether you're on your first date or your hundred and first, Vetsa will exceed all your expectations of yummy, romantic, and sexy!

No question Vesta is the most dinstinctive restaurant we've experienced in Denver since moving from Boston (a pretty good restaurant town). Very funky & eclectic decor. First time we went we were mesmorized by the guitar player on the over-grill stage (we actually stopped eating - which is saying a lot).

The tastes are what set the foor apart. The variety of grilled food choices are regular. The tastes offered by their dipping sauces are the sensation. Nothing like going to a restaurant and experiencing wonderful tastes.

Nice hostess and wait staff. Handle crowds quite well considering.
