We live in rural Wyoming, 150 miles from Denver. We made the mistake of ordering new siding through Precision in 2012. Great salesmanship, but things rapidly went down hill after they got our money. Installation was a NIGHTMARE. Installers didn't arrive when they were supposed to, the crew was TERRIBLE--unprofessional, poorly trained and had NO PRIDE of WORKMANSHIP, and the person in charge had questionable English skills--I had difficulty communicating with him. Our yard was totally trashed, satellite dish was removed & we had to pay to have it reinstalled, porch light fixtures were reinstalled upside down, doorbell wiring damaged (still doesn't work right), shabby, inconsistent finishing on window wrapping, downspouts were bent, broken. We had them come back and pick up trash, fix things & re-do all windows--installers were then sullen, and angry--NO COMPANY REP EVER CHECKED ON THEM and they did a mediocre job, but I signed off on the job because I was intimidated and my husband wasn't around. We called them in Sept 2012 hoping to purchase a couple of pieces of siding to repair damage caused by our lawn service, and are still waiting (March, 2013). Today (2 Mar 2013), we discovered a window screen that was slashed in line with the window wrapping they replaced--now its too late to do anything about it! PLEASE stay away from this company--I wouldn't wish this nightmare on ANYONE!

Precision and siding is the worst company I have ever worked with. It all started when my husband and I agreed to have them install new siding on our house. First we had chose a cedar shake style, but after the product sat in our driveway for a month waiting for the installers to arrive we were told the product was damaged. We then decided to go with some standard siding. The installers where horrible, they were rude and trampled our bushes along the house. After the first summer with the siding my husband noticed that it was starting to ripple and bulge in places. After many un answered letters and phone calls we ended up hiring an attorney to get it fixed. The same thing happened this time, we were told three times that they would be there to install the new siding, but no one showed up. The bottom line is that this company is not good to work with and they do not stand behind their product.

I'am very unhappy with Precision Siding and Construction. We contracted back in June of 2010 to have siding installed. Their workers showed up September 25 2010. I had to keep calling precision siding and they never would give me an installation date. Then September 24 at 7:30PM their workers called and said they would be there the next morning.

They only completed half the house and then we never seen them again. Then they called a few weeks later and tried to get me to pay more money for the other half. They said it was an error on measuring for material. Their error there problem, I'm not a carpenter or I would have never hired anyone.

I called many times tryng to get a date when they would finish the house, finally got an answer of last week of Oct. or first week of November.

Well it's now November 8th and still no word from precision siding.

It's beginning to feel like a bait and switch or extorsion job.

I'm just inquireing if this can lead me to an open forum?
I'm sure if I would want to spend $13,000.00 (+) on a product that has a warrenty, thats not supported by the manufacturer or distributer.

Precision installed siding and new windows on my home in 2006. Materials and installation were both good, although it came at a rather high price.

They were a little late (a month or two) getting started (windows first), and then discovered that one of the custom (trapezoid) windows was cut wrong, and that delayed installation another month or two.

When the windows were finally all installed, the siding installers were scheduled. They took another month or so to get started, then a couple weeks to complete the installation. The couple (guy and his wife) were pleasant, and I think they did a pretty good job. We've had more than one "cap" (like for the dryer exhaust, etc.) come off, and another spot or two where the siding didn't seem to be cut long enough to have the ends covered by the end-caps. The installer did come back last summer for a couple minor repairs.

All in all, we're happy with the installations and the product. It was supposed to be finished in early July, and I think it was nearly Thanksgiving when they wrapped it up. That was really my only gripe.

One of the panes in our largest window, roughly 4'x6', broke last winter, apparently from some extremely cold weather. (It dropped to around -30F for a week or so.) It was a little difficult connecting with someone in their office that I could talk to about it, but when we were able to discuss it, she said it would be under warranty and that they'd make a new one and have it installed by early July. It's now late August, and I'm still waiting. (I've been going to call them and keep forgetting.) I'm confident they'll take care of it before long. If not, I'll post a follow-up.
