Charlie's has been around for a long time. They were on Larimer street when it was skid row. This is the place to buy tools, especially automotive type wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers etc. There are all kinds of tools here But mechanics tools are the specialty. You get it cheper here than anywhere else that is a store. They base their prices on one half the current retail price. The keep all catalogues and price lists on hand for reference. You'll find anything from Snap On on down. I'd stay away from the power tools unless you know them well. There is no store guarantee on anything. But most brands of mechanics hand tools carry lifetime guarantees. If it breaks, the dealer will replace it. Snap On, Craftsman, Matco, Mac, Cornwell, Proto, SK and other are like this. Do your research on brands before yo go there so you know what to buy and not buy.
