We used Dr Scott to come out to check the sudden onset of lameness in my horse. He only had us trot the horse away from him and used hoof testers on the horse with no other diagnostic testing of any kind. He said either the horse had an abscess, her white line had pulled away from the hoof wall (laminitis), or a broken coffin bone. He did not take an xray or do blocks, there was no heat or digital pulse. He had us poultice the foot and give the horse antibiotics. Over a week later the horse was still lame. We had Dr Striklin out, who is one of the top lameness vets in Northern Colorado and works with CSU. He did a full lameness workup. The horse had a strained suspensory ligament. Dr Scott failed to be accurate and gave three senarios that were serious yet did not one clinical thing to confirm them. Just saying the coffin bone could be broken for the sake of the horse an x-ray should have been taken and egg bar shoes should have been put on the horse.

Not only do both Dr. Mike and Dr. Lori explain and educate their owner/clients, they are always on the cutting edge with a no nonsense approach. Dr. Mike saved my daughters mare and Doc Lori is insightful, caring and can calm the wildest of beasts. I feel lucky that we are on their roster of clients.

Dr. Scott is absolutley, hands down the best vet ever.

She is very intuitive and was able to correctly diagnose our dog (and save his life) after other multiple vets had failed. She shows true compasion for the animals and their humans. We never want to go anywhere else.
