There is no doubt in my mind that Archie Moores is one of the best restaurants in the state. Good service and very good burgers, and of course the best buffalo wings I have ever tasted in my life. It is also very reasonably priced.

Pros: Just about everything!
Cons: It might just be me, but the calamari makes my stomach sick.
Downtown Wallingford near the post office, this is a nice place to go for happy hour, to hang out and have beer and appetizers. Parking in back or across the street.

As the previous reviewer mentions, the buffalo sauce here is worth stopping in for. This place gets packed full of townies just about every Thurs, Fri & Sat, and there really isn't adequate room to hang out around the bar (although there is plenty of table space which you can only occupy if you're sitting down to dinner-which isn't why you'd go here).
