If you want pay a high price for parking lot installers call this company, floor was installed wrong twice had to ask for a refund and fire Strathmore (nomore) call another local company and got the service we wanted and payed for. Would not recommend Strathmore.
1Be very wary of Strathmore Floors!
Strathmore installed the floors in our new home as a subcontractor for John Wieland's Colonnade Custom Homes. We closed on the home in November of 2006 and have had nothing, but problems with our floors. They scratch very easily even by just wearing street shoes indoors. We have complained about this to our builder and they bring Starthmore out to inspect and all Strathmore can say is that "it's normal". We insisted it was not and Colonnade paid Strathmore to scuff and apply another coat of urethane. This hasn't helped much and we now have swirl marks allover from the scuff process and there are places where the urethane didn't adhere. Again, Strathmore claims there is no issue and yet parts of our floor look like they have an "orange peel" texture. I believe our floors are worse now.
We are still battling with Colonnade Homes regarding the floors, but we are otherwise pleased with the home construction quality. Unfortunately, Colonnade has been reluctant to correct the problem with Strathmore.
Before you consider using Strathmore Floors for your hardwood flooring I strongly urge you to look for any alternative around Atlanta.
