As a social worker in the Atlanta Community, I would discourage anyone from going to or sending someone to Carters Personal Care home. The cost is $600.00 a month to share a small 10x10 bedroom and one bathroom with atleast 5 other people. The $ includes room/board/food/medication management, however the food is unsatisfactory, the staff is unskilled, and residents are charged $3.00 to pick up meds less than 2 blocks away. The house is dirty, old, and due to the age of the home the house is extremly cold in the winter and extremly hot in the summer.
