Advocate South Suburban Hospital

I have been to south suburban hospitals emergency a few times, and my experience was a long wait. I arrived at 5PM in the afternoon and was not seen until 10 PM that night. I went home the next morning around 1:30AM. The male registered nurse that I had was quick and cold. He knew his job, but he had a cold care tactic. I must say though that I have had other experiences with the emergency room at ssh that were much better and faster. I must say it must have been a busy night and maybe the nurses were a little flustered that night, because the emergency room was full.

I have been to their emergency room a couple of times, and I would say that they are one of the best. The Waiting room is so inviting. It is clean. The chairs are comfortable. There is cable tv. The nurses are nice and take interest in your problem and in your emotions. I have never had to wait long. They also have a referal program too!

I have been to this hospital a many of times for when my mother has gotten sick. I think this hospital has great care. The nurses make an effort to make the patients comfortable. I think the emergency room staff are fast, once they are able to get to you. It is usually busy and backed up, but when they do assist you, it is quick. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is very sick.
