Shoreline Water Taxi

Good tour of the Chicago shoreline along Lake Michigan, if touristy. Even if you are from Chicago, though, it is a different perspective on the city's great skyline. Pricey, but most lake tours are. The tour guide tells interesting stories about the sights as you move up and down the lake, and it is a relaxing trip. Definitely go when the weather is nice.

There's nothing quite like being out on Lake Michigan and looking at the most beautiful city in the US...Chicago. My family and I visited Navy Pier over the summer and Shoreline was having a deal on their Skyline boat tours. With our paid adult admission our children got to ride free. Since we really wanted to do this boat tour anyway we jumped at the deal. The tour consists of boating up and down the shoreline while you look at the buildings and hear the tour guide tell stories. My wife and I found it informative and my kids just loved being out in a boat. Next time we plan on taking the Architecture Tour which travels down the Chicago River!

This is a great boat cruise to take if you are interested in a very informative and smooth tour of the chicago shoreline. They have a great driver who gives all sorts of interesting information while he or she takes you on a wonderful and relaxing ride on Lake Michigan. This is a must do for all people visiting Chicago!
