Terre Haute, IN 47807

This place has a surprisingly good music selection. If you're looking for more headshop type stuff, you're better off going to Indianapolis, but decent overall. the location would be cool if Terre Haute weren't so lame downtown now, but it's still cool. The parking lot is kind of small so you might have to park on the street. The people are nice, but they're also not going to bend over backwards to help you if they don't know you.

Insider Pages lists this business type as "Musical Instruments." This store is actually a place to buy pre-recorded music. In other words: CDs, tapes and even vinyl.
A lot of people love this store, but frankly, I don't. The few times I've been in there, I felt like the staff was watching me. I don't know if it was because I wasn't cool-looking enough, or if they thought I was going to steal something. Whatever the reason, I didn't feel welcome here.
It's a tiny store and very cramped. It's hard to even turn around in there!
Their selection is good, though. If you're looking for a band that nobody's ever heard of or everybody's forgotten about, chances are you can find it here. But be prepared to pay non-discount prices.
They stock lots of other cool head-shop type of items. It's a good place to find an unusual gift for that music fan in your life who has everything.
