My boyfriend and I stopped by to tour the cat boarding facility today as we have been trying to find a place for our two cats while out of the country. Needless to say, I was absolutely APPALLED by the conditions for the cats here. I was a little skeptical at first given the area of Indy that Sleepy Hollow is in but I realize there are occasionally hidden gems in the worst of neighborhoods - this is not one of them. The front office area is nice enough but when you walk into the back stairwell you are immediately hit with the smell of cat urine. When the girl at the front desk opened the door to the cat room the smell intensified. The room was dark and humid, which really only made the nasty ammonia smell worse. There was only one cat there at the time but I felt so sorry for the poor thing. Its cruel to leave an animal, or any living creature for that matter, in an environment that so thoroughly smells of ammonia. Lack of care and cleaning is the only way I can rationalize it as I have lived in households of up to five cats and known people with many more and unless you saw the animals you would never have known there were cats. Its the sort of situation you hear about on Animal Cops or the ASPCA show with cat hoarders. I'm surprised paint wasn't peeling off the walls. I don't know why anyone would ever leave their cat here. It was disgusting and its cruel and honestly the place should be shut down. No animal should be subjected to that sort of dark, dank, hot, reeking environment. Ever. Period. Will not use their services and will never recommend them. Disgusting.

Hell yes, I would not go to a restaurant if they hired a murderer.

And you say she paid her debt to society. Are you crazy. She murdered a young girl and she is out living a normal life. She did not pay her debt.

If it were my daughter that had been murdered, there would be blood all over the floors of the Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch tonight, I guarantee that.

Also, of course she is rude if you ask her about it!! What if every person you met brought up the worst thing you had ever done in you life constantly?! Youd be rude too! I've never been to this kennel, but reading your ridiculous reviews of things that dont matter made it neccessary to comment!! How they treat your pets is ALL that matters! Would you stop eating at a great restaurant because your waiter once committed a crime?-NO! For God's sake people! Judge not lest ye be judged!

My dog always starts smiling when we turn down your street. It feels good to see him go charging in, though he probably doesn't realize he's stuck! The staff here has always been wonderful. I also really like how they cut his nails and they do it at a good price. I don't need to take him to the vet for that anymore!

I know I have found a good place in Sleepy Hollow because my dog looked so happy when I picked him up. Everything went fine, and I will be bringing him back next time I go out of town overnight.

Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch gets 5 out of 5 stars! They have provided great care for our Lacy since she was just a pup. That has been fourteen plus years and now that she is a senior the are sure to keep her extra comfortable. Lacy does not take well to most people but does enjoy the folks at Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch and especially a certain handler. She is always the one to take her out for activities and such. We feel comfortable going on vacation knowing Lacy is comfortable as well with her friends at her vacation home, Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch

Judging a girl for what she did 20 years ago has nothing to do with what she is doing now, and she's doing a great job. She served her time in prison, and she has paid for what she did. She was just a child then and she was influenced by her peers. She served her time, got an education, and paid society back for her youthful mistakes. She deserves to be treated like a human.

Guss and and his family think Sleepy Hollow is the only place to be when you're away from home. Guss loves the employees and everyone there, Anna grooms in exactly like we like. Everyone is friendly and accommodating and great with our furry friend. We have been going to sleepy hollow since at least the early 1990's and would never go anywhere else. Guss is always happy to arrive or be picked up, he is a very happy dog.

There is no question that the people that work at Sleepy Hollow go above the call of duty for your pet. From report cards, to quality recommendations for your pet, this is an all around great place!

Friendly, clean (as it can be for a pet place). They seem to care about the pets.

They treat our Foster as if he was their own ""puppy"". Even Fred, who is not easy to love, is loved. Thank you for all you do with our loved ones.

Sleepy Hollow does a magnificent job at taking acre of my 2 dogs and cat. Everything always goes well while they are there, I only wish the check in process was a little easier and it would be helpful if I could complete the drop-off questionnaire prior to coming in.

We had 3 dogs dropped for the weekend and they were cared for exceptionally. One of our puppies had an infection and he had his meds perfectly given to him. The other was an outside dog who was a muddy mess-The exact opposite of how he was when we got him back. Exceptional service and will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

The employees at Sleepy Hollow are courteous and I could tell they really took an interest in my dog. The Kennels are so clean and every dog is given a comfy bed to sleep on. What a great place. Oh, and all you hateful, angry people, I feel so sorry for you because you are the ones who are imprisoned by your own hate and lack of compassion. But, on the other hand, the fact that Theresa reached found the grace and compassion to let a life heal, really made a big impression on me.

We really cant say enough good things about this place! when the dogs get here they are wagging away like crazy. That says a lot for me. They love it here. I have had a few dogs over the years and have been using them for the last 20.

I have always had a great experience here! My dogs are bathed, clipped, and nails clipped. They are one of the few people to groom a labradoodle and make short hair look good. Always a walk-in for nails clipped which is super convenient. Thank you very much for everything.
