The Vogue is a great place to get your dance groove on or see a great concert up and close. The bar staff do an excellent job serving all the patrons, the security keeps a watchful and attentive eye on everyone, the servers are always on

If you carry a pistol you may feel safe here. If you are a drunken very permiscuous bar trash this is the place for you. A nice evening out for dancing and drinks with your lady, this place is the pits. Chances are you wont be the only one

I have been all over the world, to dozens of clubs, and this place is the absolute WORST!!! The clientele at The Vogue make New York City subway riders look like winners of a congeniality contest!! My friends and I went to see Lucinda Williams there last night and we were expecting something along the lines of the House of Blues (New Orleans) or Yoshi's (San Francisco). Boy, were we mistaken! It wouldn't have taken much to get some organization going so that people might actually be able to SEE as well as hear the artist. But instead, you had to stand there the entire night, getting run over throughout the concert by a neverending parade of incredibly obnoxious, rude, drunken cretins. (And let's face it, Lucinda Williams doesn't exactly conjure up images of a mosh pit, but we sure felt like we were in one!!) The only people I would recommend this place to would be self-loathing masochists, and even that's doubtful.

Pros: None

Cons: Everything about it

This place is full aholes both staff and clinets. The crowd is annoying to say the least and the bar trys to hard. It is like going to high school but with alcohol.

The pleasant nightclub ambience of the Vogue is long gone. Like other jaded establishments, the Vogue now tends to treat customers as intruders rather than guests. The service ranges from indifferent to unfriendly. The managerial/security staff is gratuitously insolent. The club still attracts good bands occasionally, but they sell to a standing room only crowd on those nights; and this results in access to the upper stairway exits being blocked by elbow to elbow balcony mobs. If you want to see your favorite band at the Vogue, go; but don??t sit upstairs -- and expect to be jostled and disrespected more than once during your evening.

The vogue always seems to be the hot spot in Broadripple, so always very busy, but is a good thing because they take good care of their customers. The bartenders are always slammed with people but take good care of you. Drinks are a great price. Good place to check out!

The Vogue is old news. The bartenders are the only reason to go. And there are only a few goods ones left. It is crowded and stuck in the past. The website isn't even complimentary to even their few good points. Get with the times. Best location to get grabbed on maybe.

Pros: bartenders

Cons: the building it self is out dated

Went to the Vogue for New Years Party 12/31/2006. The place was packed. The dance floor was standing room only. I wouldn't want my girl on that floor with cats copping a feel indiscriminately. There were a lot of guys standing around on the main floor. Shady looking dudes.

We were in the balcony where there was a lot more room to move, but not really to dance. It's more fun dancing with the people, because of the energy that's around you, but not fun at all when it's overly crowded, and people dancing with drinks and spilling them on you.

It was a diverse crowd in age, ethnicity, and also class. Saw thug types, artsy types, and uppity types. Ravers and Hip Hoppers too.

I'm from Ohio and I totally forgot that Indianapolis still has public smoking. My girl has locs and it's gonna take a couple of days the get the smoky smell out of her hair.

The music was okay. They were true to the types of music advertised on their Web site. I'm thinking that had I known more about some of the other spots (mainly hip hop, R&B spots) I woulda went there, but my concern was being in some spot where there could be trouble, seeing as I'm from out of town.

Based on NYE 2006, I give the Vogue a C. The people were having fun and it was high energy, but it was waay too crowded and smoky. I am sure they were beyond what the Fire Marshall would have found acceptable..

The Vogue is very upbeat and will keep you on the dance floor. Great place to be on a Saturday night. The bartender is awesome and so is the DJ. Highly recommended

I've been here a couple of times. This is a great bar although I don't really care for the music they have. Everytime I go it's been the techno music but if you like that kind then its the place to go.

A combination bar, dance club and concert venue, The Vogue is popular among Butler University students. Although on Wednesday night when the club does "Retro Rewind" the crowd is a little more varied. Drinks are a little more on the expensive side, and there is a fifteen dollar minimum on all credit or debit cards. There is a cover to get in the door, never more than five dollars, although generally arriving before eleven or showing a college ID will get you in for nothing. Tickets for preformances are sold seperately and are required.

The Vogue is a great place to be at on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays! They have all kinds of music and know how to have a good time. Wednesday nights are the best because all they play are 70s, 80s, and 90s. It is great to be able to go out and have a good time to some music you remember growing up too!!

The Vogue is clearly the place to be if you wanna shake your ass. They have one of the coolest dance floors/stages in the city and the people are all about having a good time. The girls are hot for the most part. though you have to deal with those gringo dudes that stand around the dance floor, beer in hand, staring at chicks dancing. If you avoid those tools, then you'll have a good time. So grab a Long Island, get up on a platform and show me what you've got!
