I have lived in Las Vegas, New York, Seattle and Los Angelas. I have also traveled 2/3 of the US and some of Europe. In all my travels I have never encountered a Market such as Baeslers. They ha,ve top quality merchandise at reasonable prices and the customer service can not be out done. It is my go to store for whatever I need, and if they don't have it, they will find it and get it in for me.
Baeslers is the perfect model of what a business should be, I would recommend this store to anyone!

We shop Baesler's daily and we value the wonderful customer service we receive each visit. We also use their services for all the events we are associated with too and we've never encountered a less than perfect experience. Thank you Baesler's for not only being a leader in the grocery business, but also setting standards for other businesses within our community!

I went to a graduation party last weekend. There was a huge meat and cheese tray, and a graduation cake. I had recommended Baesler's and she told me how disappointed she was with Baesler's. She order on the meat tray 1 beef, 1 ham and 2 turkey. She got 2 beef 1 ham, and 1 turkey. She also got the incorrect cheese. She ordered pepper jack and got monterey. The graduation cake was suppose to read Surprise! Holly Graduated. Surprise was spelled without and R. You should really make sure who ever is decorating the cakes, know how to spell.
This morning I sent my husband to your store for a few select items, One was sweet slaw and some donuts. No sweet slaw and no donuts!. So he came home empty handed and I had to make a trip to Kroger, where I got my donuts and slaw.
I have always recommended Baesler's because of your service and quality. I am afraid both are slipping.
Thank You for letting me speak my piece.

If I can't find something unusual in town, I know I can find it at Baesler's. I was just there last night - picked up sopressata and fresh mozzarella for a homemade pizza and Fentimans ginger beer. A lot of people go there for a quick carry-out lunch - the deli is great. Being a south-sider, I'm jealous of the east-siders - I wish I were closer to Baesler's so I could shop there more often.
Yes, some of the prices are higher, but the service is great (I've found the teenagers working the checkout to be nothing but polite - Bob Baesler is loyal to the local high schools and colleges, and they're loyal to him. No "punks".)
The people working the deli, meat department, and produce department are long-timers who are knowledgeable about their products.
Great beer selection - you can put together your own 6 pack of microbrews for a taste test. High quality produce and meats.
You can even fuel your car while your'e there - Baesler's has it all.

I'm just moving to Terre Haute this summer, but I was very impressed by the selection and quality at Baesler's. The bakery and produce sections were particularly pleasing, especially as I have an aversion to Kroger. The beer and wine selection was good, too!
4good sized store that carries customer service to a new height. Little more expensive then the other stores they compete with; but the close parking, excessibility and customer service make this market shine.
PROS: customer service easy parking cleaniness
CONS: cost
The one and only Baesler's is pretty impressive. It's about as big as any supermarket in town, but it's locally owned and operated. In fact, chances are good that you'll see Bob Baesler working out on the floor!
You won't have any problem finding what you need since the store is laid out pretty well. Many consider Baesler's bakery and deli among the best in town. It's a great place to get a birthday cake!
You're not going to save any money here, but customers seem willing to trade that for the personal level of service.

Excellent grocery store. It is a little more expensive than Kroger, but the customer service and selection is outstanding. They also have a great beer selection. There is pletny of parking and they have a good Eastside location. The store is very clean. sometimes the employees can be kind of punks, because they're all high school kids, but overall pretty good.
