My husband and I reserved a New Years Eve package through Brookshire Suites which included one night's hotel stay and a New Year's Eve dinner cruise. When we first checked into the hotel the lady at the front desk gave us our package and told us that we did not need tickets to get onto the cruise, we were to just give them the letter that was included in the package.

The hotel room itself was nice and clean. When we left for our cruise, we were told by the front desk staff to go to Pier 5 for our cruise. It turns out this was completely incorrect and we needed to go to Fells Point. We took the shuttle service to the correct place. Then when we got on the cruise we were asked for our tickets. We were told that the hotel staff told us that we only needed a letter, which was also incorrect. After standing there for 10 minutes or so while the lady figured out what was going on, we were told there was miscommunication and we were not even on the guest list, but they did end up accommodating us.

In the end, there was actually not anything wrong with the actual hotel room, but the staff did not seem to know what they were doing. We had also called two times prior to checking in to make sure that everything was okay with our tickets.

My family and I visited Balitmore on June 13-15 and had the pleasure of staying at the Brookshire Inn. Their customer service was the best that I had received in a very long time. The rooms were clean and the views were great. The Brookshire is located just a block away from the Inner Habor and three or four blocks from Camden Yards. We parked the car on Friday and picked it up on Sunday on our way out of town. We purchased tickets for the National Aquarium at the hotel which prevented my family from having to wait in the long line. \r

My kids looked forward to complimentary breakfast each morning in the Cloud Room. Members of the hotel staff handed out coins that could be exchanged for a prize in the treasure box. Mr. Bobby Nelson, Executive in charge of Housekeeping, was exceptional. He took time away from his busy schedule to help my family plan activities in Baltimore. \r
\r
Although, I did not have an opportunity to indulge in the lobby social, I thought it was an excellent way to say thank you for chosing the Brookshire. \r

The next time that we are in Baltimore, my famliy will definitely book the Brookshire Inn.\r

The staff was great!! We especially enjoyed the manger's reception during the evenings... it was great to get to met the staff and other guests. The front desk was great with their dinner recommendations and they always took time out to speak to our 1 year old and make her feel special too. She loved collecting the coins to get something from the treasure box...great idea!

We will stay here again the next time we are in Baltimore!
