Rira Irish Pub

Went her for St. Patrick's day & had an Irish experience. I have been overseas before & this place was just like eating over there. It was so wonderful. Met the Owner & he was so nice. So, awesome staff.

I have gone to this place many times and with different people and not once have they have disappointed, disregard what Sheilago58, this is a Irish Pub, you don't take a child to it and its meant to be a at least a little ruckus. Pub = Bar, what good parent takes a child to a bar?! its authentic Irish food and practically each time our waiter has been from Ireland. The atmosphere was wonderful and inviting, if you want to try real Irish Pub food and are willing to trek into Bethesda then you will want to come to this place. The only downside was the parking.

Drinks were watered down, the service was HORRIBLE, the milk served to my 5 year old was spoiled and she proceeded to vomit everywhere. The food took so long and we were served after others came. Finally, we had to leave without being served because the wait staff was so incompetent and slow, it was not worth waiting another second. We dine out a lot and this was supposed to be a relaxing, post Thanksgiving dinner. This is very much a bar only and not a place to dine--the patrons were absolutely hammered at 7:00pm and very obnoxious. Last time we ate there 2 years ago, I got food poisoning ... I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
