I've been coming here since before I was born (literally). The restaurant hasn't changed one bit since the mid seventies, aside from prices. Come on down, try the white and red pizzas, delightful with a carafe brimming with inexpensive house wine. My favorite entree has to be the veal parmesan, the eggplant parmesan is excellent as well. The service is prompt and accurate, the ambiance is classic. I miss the smoking room in the back... I had some good times in there with friends over the years, although its absence is but a minor moan. I will go ahead and reiterate, though... the pizza here is extraordinary. No matter how full I get dining in, I always order a large tomato and cheese pie to take home, sometimes two! It is simple and perfect. You owe it to your taste buds to venture on out and give it a try. Five stars without a doubt.

Pros: White and Red Pizzas (!!!)
Cons: Parking can be difficult, sometimes there is a wait
I wasn't impressed with the supposedly phenomenal white pizza - it was merely salty, not cheesy or tangy at all. The fried zucchini, however, was pretty good. My entree, mussels in red sauce, tasted like it had been thawed from frozen with an entire shaker of salt added for "flavor". While I love home-style restaurants, this one was just dingy, dirty and depressing; it looked like my Italian grandmother's dining room - about 9 months after she passed away and wasn't around to clean again. Go here if you're looking for something inexpensive and okay but stay away if you want something great

The white pizza here is TO DIE FOR! This is where I first fell in love with fontina cheese, and I was so thrilled when some local grocery stores started carrying frozen Pines of Rome white pizza. Service is very good, and I've only had good experiences dining here.
4I have only been here a couple of times, but it is delicious. They have phenomenal white pizza. The crust is thin and the cheese is so flavorful. It is a little greasy, but what do you expect from cheese?
3I highly recommend this place! The food is good and the service is great! The food was served hot and fresh and exactly as described on the menu. Everything has always been delicious.
