Id like to say right off the bat that I'm not someone who complains often. This is the first time Ive decided to post it online to give you an idea of how disappointed I truly am. I took my car to the Bel Air NTB to have the oil changed along with some other minor services, nothing to difficult. I tend to be a person who thinks in order to get something done right you must do it yourself and in this in confirmed my opinion. Shortly after the technicians had my vehicle they came into the waiting room and asked how exactly to open the hood. I thought this was an odd question coming from people that pop hoods on a variety of vehicles everyday, but thought well Ill show them anyway. I walked over pulled the interior hood release and felt no tension as if the cable was snipped. While doing this I have 3 technicians looking at me as a deer would in headlights. After this I looked at the three of them waiting on some sort of explanation or comment you know customer service or something of the sort. Now, I'm a bit of a car guy and I take care of my vehicle as well. The day before I opened my hood and checked my fluids thus the reason for the NTB visit, when I had performed this inspection I had no such issue with the hood or even an indication. The cars not old. Now I understand things break over time so a little honesty from the technicians would have been helpful and I would have chalked the issue up to a worn part, but the demeanor of the technicians said a bit more. I was taken to the front desk and told the manager would be out shortly. I waited about 10-15 minuted and finally had a chance to speak with the manager. The manger then walks out to my car pulls the lever again, tells me it must have been the individual that changed the oil last and suggest I take it to the dealer. An apology, explanation, and/ or an ounce of customer service and management skills would have been nice at this point. The manager heads back to his office and leaves me with one of the technicians. The technician walks to the desk cancels the slip and and hands me the paper as if to say SEE YA!!! I had a few words with the technician over the poor service and he had nothing to say. So now I'm stuck with a large bill getting my hood open and repaired. Ive contacted NTB corporate and I'm waiting on a call back. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. TRUST ME!!!!!

I took my car in to have 4 tires put on it. Once i returned to pick up my car they had informed me that my valve stem had broken and i had to replace it. No call to inform me that the car was finished nor did the call about the damage, Well my car has the tire monitoring system and the valve stem is the main component. i argued with the sales man Chris and got no where he told me that i did not have a valve cap on the tire and that was the reason for the breakage, Funny thing was i had put air it the tire two days before and had a valve cap. After several phone calls and a few emails i did get the part replaced and they installed it. The sales man i dealt with was a jack ass and got into an argument with my wife when she went in to pick up the vehicle. I would not recommend this store to anyone. The sales man really turned me off from this location.

I've had three different cars serviced at NTB in Bel Air, MD multiple times. After three unsatisfactory experiences, I won't be going back.
    (1) It took 3 hours for an oil change after I had made an appointment and told them I would wait for the car.
    (2) I saw one of the "mechanics" banging on a wheel with a hammer and cursing in an attempt to remove the wheel from the studs.
    (3) I was charged for an oil change and wheel rotation, and they DID NOT DO the wheel rotation. When I called them out on it, they rotated the wheels, but I now wonder whether or not they did the oil change. I suspect not as the oil filter looked a bit dusty.

The staff at this store are extremely knowledgeable about car service. They are also extremely friendly and pleasant. I feel they are honest and provide high quality service. The parking is plentiful and the waiting area is clean and has plenty of seating and is separate from the service area. The one downside: they need to get better with estimating time. Both my husband and I had our cars serviced on the same day, one after the other. Now, these were not appointments, but "walk-ins". I was told one hour for an oil change and tire rotation; it took three hours. Then my husband, who was also having an oil change and tire rotation, was told one and a half hours and his was about three and half to four. Of course, with the second car we didn't expect their estimation to be correct and planned accordingly.
