Manny's Steakhouse

Lunched with coworkers on Monday, December 22, 2008. We were celbrating the holidays, evidently the chef was on holiday. I ordered the steak sandwich w/o mushrooms and onions. Nearly an hour later it arrived cold, as it had also been waiting nearly an hour. I asked to have redone, came back with onions and mushrooms. Returned it and it arrived with only onions this time, but was now more akin to shredded beef than a traditional steak sandwich.
The server was horrified and apologetic, and the management promised gift card for our challenges but never returned.

Manny's has moved and is now part of the W hotel. The new space is beautiful and the food didn't change a bit. Love their steaks and lobster cakes. Desserts are huge and fabulous for sharing. Service is always top notch.

I love this place! It's pretty spendy, but if you're looking for great food, great service, and wine, this is the place! I went with a party of four people. We ended up ordering 2 bottles of wine and I had the Filet. It was the best steak I have EVER had. We ended up spending about 100 dollars per person, which wasn't bad given the quality of everything we had.

Fine dining at its best. The portion sizes were very large. The food was delicious and cooked to our specifications. The staff were very accommodating and made sure that our experience was memorable.

Great view -- only chance to see the city well!
