Suds Hut of Billings

We have eaten suds hut for years and loved it. The last couple times were mediocre but we weren't ready to give up on them yet. Last night we ordered some of their wings to go. When we got them home they we noticed they were a 1/4 of the size they used to be and over cooked. We called hoping for some compensation but were told the girl was new and didn't know quite what to do. There was an off taste to them so I didn't eat them, my husband who was hungry ate 5 of them. He has been throwing up since. I called back today asking for a manager to explain the situation and hoping she had a better idea of how to treat customers. I was told the wings were perfect and that I was wrong to not be satisfied. As far as my husband is concerned I was told maybe I should call the health department. I've worked years in the service industry and have never seen such disregard for a customer. They could have simply offered us credit for the money we spent and apologized, instead they lost long time customers. We will never eat there again and will also make sure as many people as possible know of our terrible experience. On a good note I picked up wings from the Grandstand to replace the bad suds hut ones last night and they were phenomenal.

This place is awful! Born and raised in Billings and in the "old" days it was ok...had Trap Shoot game on the wall and food wa good and beer was cod...not anymore! The gizzards and Chicken are cooked in old oil and I got so sick there! The help are a bunch of meth tweakers. Geeez and stop with the adds on TV.....not true! A rip off and food willl make you very ill....need to close this palce down!

While I've always enjoyed dinner from here. Our dine in experience for Mother's Day lunch was less than enjoyable. The reception was cold, and unwelcome. The service was slow, (ok for a holiday) but when you don't check back about drinks it makes it even longer. Orders where forgotten, and then uneatable. Notice of poor food was not resloved or handled correctly. I hope it's only the holiday, and not the norm for such an old and respected place of buisness.

Suds hut is famous for their broasted chicken. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. Service has always been great. The parking can be difficult.

The ribs, both beef and pork, are second to none. Chicken is excellent. A good all around place for food, a cold beer and conversation.

A friend mentioned recently that they had carry out and the price was so reasonable and very good so we decided to give it try, we ate in the restaurant and did carry out also and was very good
