St Clare School

Saint Clare School is a wonderful school with different people. If someone doesnt like the school, then thats something personal. It is a small school, but the teachers and staff there are like friends to the students. They help the student's future grow big - my children had all had great experiences at that school. The school teaches disclipine, respect for others, religious education, kindness, and ABCs all at the same time! The principals had changed and so have the teachers mainly due to personal reasons. My children learned so much from that school. Compared to the other schools I have experience with, SCS is the best. They accept everyone, even my child who couldn't get in many schools. (They have all graduated already) I thank you Saint Clare for giving my beautiful children terrific lessons, morals, and their honestly bright future! i miss that school.

Enrolling my child in St. Clare was one of the best decisions my husband and I had made. He had attended another catholic school in Clifton for Pre-K and then switched to St. Clare for Kindergarten.

I have been happy with their curriculum and I was even amazed at what they were learning in Kindergarten (i.e. their introduction to math was learning about patterns, which I think is an advanced concept for a 5 year old). It took longer for me understand my son's homework assignments than for him to actually do it. My husband who is also a teacher (in a public school) thinks St. Clare's curriculum is challenging and appropriate!

In regards to the principal that the 1st reviewer referred to, she was the most amazing principal I had ever met. She was the reason my husband and I chose St. Clare. She was a positive, wise and disciplined leader. Her actions and words showed that her top priorities were the children and their education. Any concerns you had were addressed positively and professionally. Under her leadership, St. Clare was a 'well-oiled machine' and because of her, I recommended St. Clare to a lot of family and friends.

I have two children in St. Clare School. It is a wonderful school with very high standards. True to its advertisement: Strong academics and strong values. The Principal will not allowed lack of respect, and children who refuse to follow the rules and be respectful are not allowed back.St. Clare's standards are very high, and I should know it since I work in higher ed.

PS: The bitter reviewer is Mrs. Mendoza, and one of her children was spelled for bullying.
