John's has great pizza, but long wait times. The staff is friendly, but seemed rushed all the time b/c of the crowds. It's a fun place to take the kids though if you have something to keep them entertained while waiting.

We had such high hopes for John's. We can't get decent NY style pizza in Philadelphia and we had heard that John's is the place to go. It was good but it wasn't what we were hoping for. Beer was crazy exepnsive too.

John's Pizza is the best. It's right across from the Phamtom Theatre, in the heart of the broadway theatre district. The place is huge but it still pays to get there early as it is very popular. The satff is great. The service is fast and the food is excellent. The pizza is real thin crust and very tasty.

One time that we were there we were late for eating before the matinee and since a 15-year-old can't eat at the bar, they let us order through the bar and eat at the benches they have for people waiting for a table. I think that is service above and beyond.

The pizza is good. Yes, there is better (Grimaldi's and Lombardi's), but if your in Times Square and are craving good pizza, this is a good place to go. Downside though is that it's in Times Square. So like most of the restaurants in that area, it's crowded. And the wait isn't short either. I think both times I went, I had to wait around 30 minutes for a party of 2-3. And that's pretty long considering they have the capacity to seat a whole lot of people in there.
