Animal Clinic of Bensonhurst is one of the best I have been to. Nothing can beat their service and staff. I would not recommend anyone else for their pets.

I will never take my 2 dogs anywhere else. Dr. Gordon's office may smell and be a little funky, but Dr. Gordon is one of the most fantastic vets I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My shih-tzu will not let anyone near his nails except Dr. Gordon. I won't bring my dogs anywhere else! You should bring your dogs here!

THE PEOPLE WHO PUT THE BAD REVIEWS ARE NOT EXAGGERATING!!! THE PLACE IS UNSANITARY AS SMELLS OF URINE FILL THE YELLOW STAINED WAITING ROOM. THE FRONT DESK CLERK ALWAYS HAS A BAD ATTITUDE WHENEVER ANYBODY COMES IN!!! IT'S LIKE SHE GETS ANNOYED WHENEVER SOMEONE IS AT THE DESK ASKING FOR HELP OR SIMPLY COMING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! THE VETS THEMSELVES ARE INEXPERIENCED AND IS ACTUALLY AFRAID WHEN AN ANIMAL SHOWS SIGNS OF FEAR AGGRESSION!!!! DR. GORDON GAVE MY 8 YEAR OLD PITBULL A DOSE OF SEDATIVE (TO PREP FOR AN XRAY OF HER LUNGS) AFTER HAULING HER (67LBS) ON TOP OF THE VET COUNTER. MY PIT WAS ALREADY SICK AT THE TIME AND WAS VERY WEAK. ON TOP OF THAT, HER HEART BEGAN BEATING FRANTICALLY BECAUSE OF HER STRUGGLE AND REFUSAL TO BE LIFTED ONTO THE COUNTER. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT HER ONTO THE COUNTER, SHE WAS STILL TRYING TO FIGHT AND STRUGGLE HER WAY OUT, THUS CAUSING AN EVEN MORE FAST-BEATING HEART!!! WITHOUT TAKING THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HER HEART WAS BEATING FAST INTO CONSIDERATION, GORDON JABS MY PIT'S ARM AND ADMINISTERED WHATEVER THE FCUK WAS IN THAT MEDICATION AND KILLED MY DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD TO WATCH MY FIRST BELOVED DOG OF 8 YEARS DIE IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE FOUND OUT WHEN HE CAME BACK INTO THE ROOM WITH THE SYRINGE TO TAKE HER BLOOD, HE FOUND THAT THE BLOOD WASN'T FLOWING INTO THE TUBE AND BEGAN TO ADJUST THE RUBBER BAND ON HER ARM EVEN TIGHTER!! STILL THE BLOOD WAS NOT RUNNING INTO THE TUBE AND THAT'S WHEN THE FCUKER TOOK A LOOK INTO HER EYES AND SAID, "OH IT'S GONE." OH, IT'S GONE!?!?!!??! NICE JOB CRAZY PSYCHO DOG KILLER!!! U SHOULD BE BANNED FROM ANY FORM OF PRACTICE!!!! MURDERER!!!!!!!

WOW SOME PEOPLE ARE SO RUDE TO MAKE THIS VETS OFFICE LOOK SO BAD But The TRUTH be Told This VETS OFFICE is WONDERFUL I LOVE DR. GORDEN He Has Taken Care of all My Pets in a Fast EXCELENT MANNER as a GREAT VET Does He's STREIGHT UP Forward With any QUESTIONS You ask he Listens to you and TREATS My BABIES With Such WONDERFUL Loving Care i Wouldn't Take Them to Any Other VET DR. GORDAN WIill Never Refuse a Animal At Anytime of The Day or Night An Might i Say You Don't Need An APPT. To See Him If SOMETHING HAPPENS To Your Pet At Anytime Of The Day You Call They Always Say COME IN DR. GORDAN IS ONE WONDERFUL VET An His Staff As Well An His PRICES ARE FINE If Your Pet Is SPECIAL To You Then You Will GO TO SEE DR.GORDAN An JUDGE FOR YOUR SELF He IsTHE BEST VET. I have been coming to Dr. Gordon for a few years, but it was never an emergency. Suddenly my 4 year old dog got sick and Dr. Gordon was so inpatient and in a few emergency visits still failed to diagnose the problem. Instead he kept giving the dog "booster" shots which just masked the symptoms and finally my little girl was rushed to an emergency clinic where she died. During my last visit to Dr. Gordon as I was nervously telling him the symptoms he interupted me and started telling me that the screen on his laptop at home is not lighting up and has that ever happened to me!!!

Do not listen to the other reviewer. I don't agree at all; this place was amazing!
The vets in the clinic were really nice. We just sat down, filled out the form and they called our pets name. The average amount of waiting is about 10 minutes. Our cat Spunky had a checkup so they asked many questions about our kitten. They gave him one very quick shot and cut his nails. They did it very good, and Spunky did not resist. We asked many question and received all the answers. After the shot, The only after effect our kitten had was a little drowsiness. The last review was maybe because the person got unlucky. I highly recommend this place and I think that it's one of the best places in New York.

WARNING! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I REPEAT! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

Waiting area stinks of animal odor and doctor's examination rooms look filthy!!!
The equipment and shots that they use are stored in a drawer filled with syringes, bottles of all sorts, junk, papers, etc... God knows what else is in these drawers!!!

Went to visit for first time and the Asian lady who took care of my pet was very nice. Second visit was a nightmare! BEWARE of a doctor whom we will conceal by the name of "Dr. L" He is HORRIBLE and RUDE and DISGUSTING! I was promised a certain type of care that was never carried out. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. This clinic is a waste of your time and energy!

Lots of hidden costs and very deceptive. Don't wate your money!!!

P.S. My bathroom is cleaner than this clinic!!!
