The lunch buffet offers spicy and mild dishes and usually has both green and red curries. Lots of options for vegetarians! Be sure to try the cold salad and coconut desserts.
Their soup is the best thing to beat a cold; order the Tom Kai Gai and jasmine tea!
BTW...I've never seen them be rude in my 11 years in Norman; they've never charge charge me 20% gratuity.

Worst food and bad management. They charge you with 20% gratuity if you are party of 5 (though menu says 6 or more). Stay away from them. Very rude management and they are not worried about getting the customers back. They even call the COPS if you argue about their 20% tip policy. BEWARE it happend to my friend. I would recommed Thai KumKoon in Lindsey or PiWei.

They have lot of left over food from 2 to 3 previous day menu. Also I found a insect in my dish. I basically walked out without eating. I will not recommend this place to any one.

I have been eating food all my life, but never have I had an eating experience so GLORIOUS! The staff of Thai Raja is both friendly and innovative with the restaurant layout. I often feel that I am eating in Thailand while eating there because of the Authentic food, atmosphere, and people. Thai Raja: With my hand I high five!

I have decided this is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. The prices are good and I have eaten there during the lunch buffet and at night and the food is always good. The restaurant is not very busy at night, but don't let that dissuade you, they have some good dinner specials (which include soup and an eggroll) and the food is great. The service is always friendly and prompt and my glass is never empty. They do take their heat rating serious though - a 10 is a 10!

This is definitely priced to please the pocket book and is a favorite of the college crowd for that reason (and the fact it's right off campus). The lunch buffet is large and the food kept hot. While not outstanding as a meal, it was good for the money and worth a stop in to eat.

From their lunch buffet to their awesome dinner menu Thai Raja offers Norman an authentic taste of Thai cuisine. As a vegetarian, I love that I have OPTIONS on the menu! Their tofu is always cooked just right. The staff is friendly, the prices are very affordable, the restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the food is outstanding. What more can you ask for from a restaurant?

Pros: red curry with tofu, fresh ingredients, vegetarian friendly
Cons: I would like to see brown rice as an alternative to white rice, closed on Saturdays
What can I say, I love Thai Raja! The food is great, it doesn't cost much, and the wait staff are very friendly. Thai Raja is a college students dream, especially their luch buffet. Yummy!
