Our family has been dining at Taj for years and it's still one of the family favorites. The food has always been good, the owners are always very friendly, and they do a good job of keeping the buffet fresh.

The place isn't perfect -- as Gail said, the decor isn't anything to write home about, and I wish they would have a little more variety in their buffet dishes -- but none of those are showstoppers.

Also, on holidays such as New Years and Valentine's Day they have a double-sized buffet with a lot of interesting dishes (that have also got to be pricier for them to prepare). If you like Indian food and haven't been to one of these special buffets, it's definitely worth the trip.

Looks can be deceiving. Since this is one of two Indian restaurants in all of Oklahoma City, this would be your only option new Edmond. The best time to go would be for sure during busy hours when these people are on their best behavior. Food is OK, menu is never consistent and service sucks...sorry.

Offers a good buffet. Atmosphere is nothing spectacular--you can tell it used to be a Mexican Restaurant, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit.

Food quality is excellent. Real nice buffet with lots of non-meat alternatives. Also has dessert bar and appetizer bar.
