The room was clean-had a full kitchen-including micro and oven and full size refrigerator. The view from this room is the best I have ever seen. We sat in the tub and watched all the bonfires on the beach..awesome! This is our new spot-LOVE IT.

I searched LONG and hard to find a hotel in Lincoln City that fit what we needed/wanted-oceanfront lodging, hot tub and PET FRIENDLY! It is amazing how many hotels are pet friendly, but only if your pet is under 25 pounds. Really...my dog has 25 pound toys. I decided to quit searching hotels and started searching MOTELS! We found a gem and our new go-to place. The hotel is dated..but who cares. We wanted a clean place to rest our heads and that is what we got. We got a room RIGHT ON THE BEACH with a FULL SIZE hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean.

This is a cute little budget oceanfront motel. The rooms are simple, and the outside is weather beaten. They allow pets. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have always seemed clean. They have done some recent updating in the rooms. If you are in Lincoln city and looking for something simple give them a try.

My friend and I have stayed here every spring break for the last 3 years. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the rates are some of the best in town for a beachfront motel. We love the jacuzzis and how close of a walk it is to the beach. We intend to keep coming back every year, especially because they are pet friendly :)

We heard no noise while we were there, except for the howling wind. There was a bonfire on the beach one night. It was about fifty feet below our window, so we heard nothing. We also didn't get an invite. ;( The management is friendly and helpful, but not overly. We had our privacy. I hate when the innkeep wants to know everything, on this count I give them two thumps up.

The best part of the Seagull is the view. A giant picture window of the surf. We went for the storms and this time were not disappointed. Nothing like opening the window to hear the waves crashing and have the salty air blowing. I don't think there is fresher air than a nice 50 MPH gust. After a while, close the windows and the sounds are a distant memory, but the view remains (they wash the windows daily if needed). The rooms are large. The bed is a real king. The fake fireplace is enjoyable. Everything is clean, not completely sterile, but clean. The bathroom is also clean. Some have complained about the showerhead height, I kind of liked it, my hair didn't get wet everytime I showered. Management told us they spent a bunch getting the water temperature not to fluctuate. It must have worked because I didn't notice it.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Seagull Beach Front Mote. We stayed two days and having beach front access within a very short walking distance was really a plus for us and our 12 year old son. We found plenty of great places to dine as well as really enjoyed nearby attractions. Our motel room was very affordable, simple, clean and included a kitchen which helped us stretch our budget by having a couple meals in our room. The view was fantastic and the weather was sunny and warm when we visited. The people running the motel were very friendly and helpful.

The fire place initially disappointed. I never had an electric fire place before, but with the remote control I was in command! I'm thinking of converting my wood burning fire place to electric, I like it so well. Front desk was nice enough, but we didn't need them. TV was HD with a DVD player. ShowTime with the cable, but with the beautiful view who watched TV. Bought a telescope with us and that was entertainment enough. Relaxing, quite, clean and a great view. Good enough for me!

If you are used to 4 star hotels with room service and big soft towels, then this motel is not for you. The rest of us can read on. The location is great. Big picture window (that opens) frames a wonderrul part of the Oregon coast. The place was very quiet during the Festivus season, but that's what we wanted. Breakfast in bed was steak and eggs. Easy peazy, orange squeezy when you have a kitchenette in the room. Plenty of hot water, but towels are cheap motel towels.

We had a great time and great stay! Very happy with this Motel. Will recommend and stay again.
