Washington County Government Animal Services Bonnie L Hays Small Animal Shelter is the local pound. It is a good place to adopt animals who may otherwise be put to sleep. The prices are average and most of the staff friendly. I have an old grudge against them, when my dogs were kidnapped and then turned lose. We called them and they were turned in. They said we could pick them up the next day.
When we went to get our two furbabies ,they had accidently put our black lab to sleep instead of another. This was quite a while ago. I have seen some great pets adpoted from here.
