This is an EXCELLENT schools. After sending my children to a horrible public school where I feared for their safety daily, I sent them here and haven'thad a worry since. They are a realtively inexpensive private school with tuition ranging from about $5,000-$7,000 depending on the grade. The school campus is very clean and the teachers and admin are very professional and curteous. There is a small playground with play structures. The "lunch room" is ver informal. The learning materials are top notch. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a private school!

I used to live around this school. And I have to say from the looks of the faces on the kids you can tell they like the school and theyre getting good education. And it is true the whole neighborhood is declined but this school provides light. I'm sure any kid that actually goes here will do good in the future.

Frankford Friends School is an EXCELLENT learning institution for pre-K thru 5th grade. .They emphsis the three R's..reading. writing and mathematics in a loving and supportive atmosphere.

The school has been educating children for years in an impoverished declining neighborhood, but the quality and compassion for their students has never changed..even as the neighborhood around them has.

The school is based firmly in the Quaker belief system that all children are precious and learn at their own pace in the own way. Many children who start out here progress to attend [on scholarship] schools such as Newtown Friends [a world-renown private high school] strictly due to their having been educated here..not because of the abilty to pay.

My own two children attended this school and the progress they made was astounding compared to what they had learned in public school.

I would highly recommend this school to anyone who truly cares about how, why and what their children learns.

PROS: EXCELLENT EDUCATION, NURTURING ENVIRONMENT
CONS: SCHOLARSHIPS ARE LIMITED..APPLY EARLY
