Mary's Cheers Bar

I've been going to Cheers since before it was even Cheers, about 25 years. It has always been a very local oriented bar, however over the last ten years it has become very outsider friendly. This is due to the efforts of the owner who cares deeply about her patrons. You are not treated like royalty, but if you smile and mix with the "locals" you quickly become family. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and the patrons, owner and employees are good people. I'll go back for another 25 years...you should too.

You can tell that this place is not overly concerned with impressing too many people. It is located just off the turnpike and just after the Pa Ren Fair. Very small sitting room and the bar tender is also the cook. Very much geared to regulars and nothing else. Selection is alright but again if they were more willing to invest more in making the place more than just the standard bar then it would be a nicer place.
