North Tollway Pet Hospital

We've been clients at North Tollway Pet Hospital for at least 12 years with our five dogs spread over that time. We've unfortunately lost three of them during that period, and there cannot be a more compassionate veterinarian on this planet than Dr. Duane Maxwell. He AND his staff have helped us through these difficult times, and there is no other place we'd want to be when facing these heartbreaking moments. He's helped us to see what's best for our beloved friends and be confident in making the difficult choices when necessary.

During the healthy times with our much loved pets, Dr. Maxwell is a wealth of information on everything from the best foods to feed, training resources, and of course excellent veterinary care. Marlene, Kim, Esmerelda, and ALL the staff there are kind, caring, friendly individuals who love on our dogs just like we do. And Phyllis does a superb job in the grooming department. Even though we drive a distance to get there, we will never go anywhere else for the care of our dogs. Dr. Maxwell and the gang at North Tollway Pet Hospital are simply the best!

The front was very friendly as my husband and I were a little frantic to get our dog an appointment. We had to walk in because another pet groomer cancelled on us but the staff was very accommodating. Phyllis really went above and beyond for our dog. I will be going to North Tollway Pet Hospital from now on!

Dr. Maxwell is the best! I bring all four of my dogs to see him and would never even consider taking them somewhere else. He really takes the time to answer all of questions and never treats me like just another client. When my 10 year old dachshund had major oral surgery, he went above and beyond what any other vet would have done. He knew I was very nervous about the whole thing, so he came in on his day off to perform the surgery so that he would not be interrupted by other appointments. I am very picky when it comes to the care that my dogs receive, and I will only use Dr. Maxwell. The front staff and vet techs are great too. They are always very nice to me and I believe they genuinely care about my babies.

I was recommended to go to North Toll way Pet Hospital from a friend of mine and I was happy I went. My cat has frequent urinary tract infections and the doctor prescribed a medicine that will help her to not get them as often. The friendly staff was there early in the morning when I was able to drop off my pet. Their rates are competitive with other vets in the area.
