Pros: decent fajita's

Cons: sauces, too much salt in food, cheap tasting food , dry rice

Blue Goose is great to go to during lunch for quick service, great food and even better prices. At night this is the perfect place to go for a drink and hang out with friends.

I live within walking distance to Blue Goose so I've become very spoiled with eating it about once a week. Everything is above par. From the homemade tortillas, to the cheesy enchiladas, to the fabulous margaritas, you just can't go wrong. I can't imagine eating anywhere else for Mexican....

I have been a patron of the Blue Goose for years now at various locations. My favorite at the moment is the Highland Village location with lots of shopping close by. My faves are the nachos, chicken tamales, fajitas and beef enchiladas. Love the fresh, hot, soft flour tortillas and wonderful hot sauce paired with crispy chips. The ice tea is strong and fresh. The sopapillas are so good. Will continue to visit the Blue Goose again and again!

Pros: Great Tex Mex

Cons: Minimum parking at the Greenville location

I wasn't expecting the service to be all that great considering it's Lower Greenville, but this place was awesome. My drink was always filled. It was full on a sunday afternoon guess that's why I was suprised. The food was awesome, especially the brisket queso.. to die for. I have to say the food travels well. Of course I got full on the brisket queso and took my food home. I warmed it up in the microwave and it still tasted great.

Pros: Awesome food

Cons: parking

I guess you'd call them restaurant made tortillas, but they have this machine that churns them out as you watch, and they are the best tortillas I'v ever had. Very trendy weekend spot, cool patio and great margaritas.

The Goose has been one of the best Mexican restaurants for two decades. It is located on lower Greenville, and its only drawback is parking and a long wait at peak hours. They have a parking lot in the back, but it fills up at peak hours. However, you can't beat the food. Portions are huge, and the food is great. The tortillas are made in a machine in the dining area. The bar has plenty of beer in tubs, and the bar opens up onto Greenville with a small patio area. Its a great place to eat and people watch in good weather. Service is always solid, but it is crowded during peak hours.

Consistently Good Tex / Mex, on Famous Lower Greenville. I've not found a bad thing on the menu. My favorite is the Flautas with Tomatilla sauce. Muy Bien. Nice Bar Area; very popular place nights. Heavy lunch crowd. And the Bikers in the picture shown are the wanna-be type; mostly professionals showing off their toys. Great Place to take a date.

Pros: Good Food, Nice Bar, Lower Greenville Patio

Cons: Crowds, Can get Loud, Lower Greenville

I would not reccomend this establishment, I have had better Mexican/Tex-Mex food in an airport. Their refried beans taste like canned bean dip and their sauces don't seem to match the dishes they are paired with. Service is marginal, not bad but certainly not worthy of more than 20%.

If you're like me, not one Mexican restaurant is great all around, but this is one of my favorites because they have the best fajitas out of any other place that I've tried. First, you must have one of their tasty margaritas to wash down the chips and salsa because they are good enough to make that frown a big happy smile. Make sure that you are ready for your meal because after you order those fajitas, they will be on your table sizzling away in no time. Their fajitas are the best because they come out in big, juicy strips and they don't skimp on the amount of meat they give you. Every time I eat there, that is all I ever order, besides the Margaritas!!

Visiting from OKC having just come from the OU-Texas Red River Shootout. Was great environment, atmosphere and the Texas fans were doing there best not to rub it in. Had to frozen Margaritas during our brief 20 minute wait. Fish Tacos are a must. Guacamole might have been even better than my own receipe. Chimichanga and crab enchiladas were our entrees which were generous, temp great and taste well worth the wait. Had two more drinks at table during meal. Service was very prompt. Only negative thing was Chimicahanga - ordered beef and received chicken instead...was still grat.

Pros: Food and drinks

Cons: None....noise level high but was after the big game.

the blue goose has an amazingly fast kitchen, huge portions and very good quality tex-mex cuisine. my only complaint would be that the rice tastes like minute rice but that can be covered up by slathering it with queso, salsa, etc.

I like to go on Tuesdays because Tecate is my favorite beer. When the weather is nice, the scene here picks up considerably, especially outside.
