This summer, I visited this Bath & Body Works location at Katy Mills Mall and was surprised to see that it had been converted to an outlet store. I was not sure what that meant and had never been to a Bath & Body Works outlet before (I didn't even know they existed)! I was also told that all of the products are in the outlet store because they are being discontinued, they are overstocked in the warehouse, or the packaging is being changed.

The good news is that you can find many of your favorite items available at heavily discounted prices. This includes items such as lotions, bubble bath, shower gel, soap, lip gloss, and even candles, perfume, and aromatherapy items. They also have some gift sets. For the most part, the items in the store are 50-75% off and most of the things in the store are $5.99 or less. There are many items (lip gloss, travel size lotions/soaps, etc.) available for $.99.

Because they are an outlet location, they don't carry the full line of Bath and Body Works products, so if you have a particular scent or item that you are looking for, you might be better off at a regular store location. They also don't have the same sale prices or promotions that they offer in regualr stores or online. The selection is hit or miss. At times, I have been able to find a number of items in scents I really like (such as Juniper Breeze and Country Apple) and other times, I walk out empty handed. I have noticed that it is best to go mid-week. They seem to get hit very hard on the weekends and I rarely find anything I'm interested in then.

If you are a Bath & Body Works fan like me or you are just looking for an affordable gift, this is a great place to check out!
