Had Wray's technicians out to the house on two occasions. No complaints the first time. The second trip out was to refill freon due to a leak and provide an estimate for a coil replacement. We were not billed for the trip, but told the charges would be added to the total for for the coil replacement.

After calling around, we found the Wray's estimate was at least $1,000 higher than everyone else, so I called them to cancel the service. I asked them to go ahead and bill my credit card for the original trip and freon, and send us a paper bill detailing the charges. Well, my credit card was billed $285, but I never received the invoice. So, I called Wray's and talked to a gentleman to promised he would send it along but, 2 months later, we have yet to receive the bill.

What makes this even more suspect is that the tech from another local business, who came out the next day, said there was no way they added the amount of freon they claimed to have added.

Next stop, BBB.

We called your company to come out and check our a/c. Sunday mid morning a tech came by, can't remember the name but he had been at our home before. He check the attic then went on the roof. We were told that the compressor was out and needing to be replaced. The good news was that it may be under warranty. Monday morning being the smart consumers that we are , we checked with a friend who owns an a/c company in the Katy Area. He checked for us and found out that the unit had a 10 year warranty. When your tech called us he told us unfortunately the unit isn't under warranty. We asked him our you sure? Yes.. okay go ahead and give us a quote. We were curious how long he would continue trying to scam us. We were told about $2,700.00 plus the crane that needed to be used.

Our friend told us if he was a good tech and knew what he was doing he would have found out about the warranty. It isn't rocket science in the a/c business. We told the tech that we found out we had a 10 year warranty. "Really who did you called" We told him our friend was going to check the a/c, we became suspicious about the compressor needing to be replaced. Our friend brought a new compressor in the event that was true what we were told by your tech.

To everyone surprise the compressor was fine.

ALSO TO OUR PLEASANT SURPRISE THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH OUR UNIT IS THE ATTACHED PICS OF PARTS THAT HAD TO BE REPLACE. WHICH WAS ONLY A COUPLE OF HUNDRED DOLLARS...NOT THOUSANDS. ALSO THE LAST TIME YOU CAME TO OUR HOME YOUR TECH HAD PUT WAY TO MUCH FREON IN BOTH UNITS. THAT WAS REPAIRED ALSO.

Your tech had gone into our attic...he didn't noticed that our water heater had a leak. Our friend did and repaired it.

I'm sure you get one off on a lot of people who don't know better or don't get a second opinion when cost of repair is high.

Don't worry about contacting us there is no excuse for what happen. We understand that you try to rip people off when possible. I'm sure the tech gets a commission on job cost. I don't know how you can live with yourself or sleep a night knowing that you are ripping people off of the hard earn money.

So I called Wrays back and they worked with me on the price and still gave me my $90 towards my install. They were out the next day and installed a complete system for me and it works great, they were courteous and clean guys, unlike some companies I've had at my home. I'd use them and plan to use them at my mother's house too.
