DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

We had a terrible experience with these guys!!! Poor customer service and very poor quality work....I would never refer them to my worse enemy!!!! We had a dent due to a blow out--We were told by Ricky that it would take 7 to 10 days---3 weeks later after much bickering-D-Town was going to deliver our truck to us in Georgetown, 20 miles down the road. They called at 5:45pm saying they were on the way...9:30pm truck still isn't here...I was calling all the numbers and even called after hours number which is disconnected...No phone call NOTHING till 4:00am. My husband had a voice mail on his phone saying truck had broke down and they were having it towed back to Pflugerville location. The next day I went to pick up our truck and it didn't start after they said they had charged both batteries for an hour...I was furious!!!!! I had our truck towed back to Georgetown and realized we had an addition 3000 miles on our truck that meant out truck had been driven around 3000 miles in 3 weeks......Our Insurance company is looking into this matter..I was given no rental car or anything they advertise to help...it was a nightmare!!!!!!

When I spoke to the staff expressing my questions or concerns about my vehicle they made sure to answer them extensively. During the time I took my car to D Town it was a very busy time for them, but they made me feel as if I were there only customer.After my car was repaired from the extensive damage it looked as if I just purchased the car from the dealership. After receiving such great customer service I would never take my business elsewhere

During the time I choose to use D Town Body shop to repair my car I was in alot of distress due to the amount of damage my car recieved from the bad hail strom. I knew the decision to take my car to D town was great once i went in to have a consultation with the shop manager I really felt at ease. Even though I didn't recieve the full amount of the $500 cash back due to my insurance deductible they did work with me on the additional costs allowing me to pay everything off within 90 days which most shops would not allow. While my car was being repaired D Town did provide me with a loner car until my vehicle was ready. Upon the completion of my car I was very much satisfied with both the customer service and auto repairs. If you are looking for quaility auto repairs give D Town Body Shop a call

dtown body shop is the worst, they have had my car for over three months, put new parts on after i told them the engine was bad. they put on the body parts only to total it out, now they want me to pay for the parts or they wont release the car to my leinholder, people are very rude and the so called manager hung up on my wife, Do not use this place, they are awful.. worst customer service ever. i will never go there again. and they dont give you cash back its part of the deductible. i now have to get a lawyer to resolve this problem so do yourself a favor and stay away from them..for a rating i dont even give them one star there lucky there not a part of the better business or i would report them there as well

So basically they have mixed reviews, and I was a little unsure about having them fix my car, but we talked extensively to the Owner when we dropped my car off, on a Saturday when he came in just to allow us to drop my car off. He did tell us that it would take about a week and a half to fix, he did provide me with a free loaner car that was on empty when I got it but none the less ran fine the whole time I had it which ended up being 3 weeks. I got my car and it looked GREAT, I had $8,000 dollars worth of hail damage and they fixed it perfect, they made one tiny mistake when they put on one of my rear view mirrors, and got a little grease on my head liner but otherwise I was very happy with the work they did, and I did not have to pay anything, no deductible, no catch!

My car was fixed like it was brand new again, now it took 1 or 2 days longer than planned however i was notified before hand that, that might occur due to the extensive damage on my car. However all was well at the end. I have recommened this shop to all of my friends. The customer service and the prices cannot be beat. I seen nothing negative about this shop.

My car was fixed like it was brand new again, now it took 1 or 2 days longer than planned however i was notified before hand that, that might occur due to the extensive damage on my car. However all was well at the end. I have recommened this shop to all of my friends. The customer service and the prices cannot be beat. I seen nothing negative about this shop.

This has got to be the worst shop in austin. When I brought my car in for the first time it took them 3 1/2 weeks to get ready.When I pick the car up they put a old light on that had red paint from the car it must of came off ,the bumper did not match up with the fender they broke my grill the hood did not open properly and did not line up. The next day Darren called me and said I could not have my car back until I paid another $250 dollars because my insurance company wasnt going to pay them for the work they did on my bumper which let me remind you wasnt fix properly the first time Darrens excuse was he fix it how the insurance company told him to. They take no pride in their work and believe me they will screw you.I ask to speak with the owner and darren said he was the one who made the decissions and staed he was the shop manager which he is also the owner come to find out he was rude and very disrespectful.I am filing a report with the better business burea and will be filing a small claims suit to get the money that I had to pay them to get my car back they had to do the work twiice because they didnt do it right the first time. The d stands for DONT bring her car back.

I'll start with the one postive thing about my experience with D Town....the receptionist was very curtious. The rest of my experience what horrible. I took my SUV in for hail damage repair and they kept my car for 8 weeks. The original time estimate was max of 2 weeks since there were so many hail damage claims in our area. D town never bothered to contact me and my husband to let us know our car wouldn't be ready when the pick up days came. My husband would show up each day it was supposed to be ready, only to find that the car was still in pieces, parked in the same spot as the time before collecting dust. We were offered no valid explaination for the delay, but were dismissed with a rude tone and lame excuses. My insurance didn't cover car rental and D town knew I wasn't going to have a car with 4 kids during the summer. It wouldn't have hurt them to keep me updated so that I could make the appropriate logistical arrangements for the next week. I even asked them to help me with a rental since they were taking so long and the manager told me he could only help me if the total cost was over $2500! I escalalated to the manager (whose name I've gladly forgotten), and he treated me with outright disrespect, raising his voice at me and even hanging up on me twice. This was before I chose to raise my voice with him. So not only were my husband and I treated poorly, we paid no where near the original estimate, and the work was terrible! The hood is no where near flush to the car when closed, the paint is chipped along the rim of the hood and there are multiple dents still visible on the roof. As if that wasn't enough, when we finally got the car back, the interior smelled like oil and there was a tar like substance on the leather seats that I still can't get off. Needless to say, I would not recommend D Town to my worst enemy. I also have a REALLY hard time believing any of the positive reviews D Town has gotten. The owners must have submitted them themselves!!!

This company has very poor customer service, they are rude and inconsiderate. D Town had my car for over a month and still has not completed all the work. I had to pay over $400. to rent a car because my Insurance would only pay for the first 30 days.

When I asked if they would help pay for the rental, because it took so long for them to fix my car the manger stated (it is not his fault that he was not able to get the parts). This is my first experience with a claim and it has been horrible. The work they completed is not quality work, and believe it or not they really do not care.

D-town did call me to pick up my car about four weeks into this, when I picked it up the air conditioner was not working, my head lights were blinking on and off and a numerous of other things. Their response was "they only check the items the Insurance writes an estimate for and do not check for other things that are related to the incident." My car had been stolen and vandalized, needless to say it was electrical,which happened when the thieves ripped my stereo out of the dash. D-Town states they will save you money, well only by not doing the work that the Insurance company has paid them for!There is much more to this story, but I just wanted to get this out there to spare other people from the same devastating experience I am having with this company. Please take my advise, it is bad enough to have something happen to your car like being stolen or being in a wreck, the last thing anyone needs is to have to deal with a shop like this. I work for an Insurance company and have heard alot of stories but this one takes the cake.

I have already had to go back once b/c the window wont stay in place (which by the way, is still not fixed so the door fills up with water every time it rains), the dents they "fixed" are now slowly coming back & they did not put the pinstripe back on although they were paid to do so. I would not recommend this shop for bodywork.

Had the vehicle taken to D-Town. They provided a wrecker to pick the vehicle up. Then the insurance adjuster worked with D-Town to approve the estimate. We did not have to be involved with anything with the insurance or the body shop.
