Country Smokehouse

Unfortunately, we were just not impressed with Country Smokehouse. We were told how great the chicken fried steak was, but honestly, it reminded me of a public school cafeteria steak. There was nothing remarkable about it. The pie was the best part of the meal and my mother makes better pies. I wanted to like it because it is local, but I just wasn't that impressed.

Good old fashioned cooking and prices. Great family atmosphere. The service is good and the food arrives quickly. Try a piece of the homemade pies. Yummy!!

There is a full line salad bar and the desserts are always great. It is one of the few good places to eat here in Forney and is a safe place for the whole family to enjoy. The pricing is fair and overall a great place to visit....
