I just joined this synagogue last year (about time-I've been in the DFW area for over 2 years!) Everyone there is friendly and it is a great conservative synagogue. It's smaller than what I am used to, but it is growing, which is really exciting. It seems to be a great place to give your family (or yourself) and keep a strong Jewish foundation.

If you have kids, Anshai is a wonderful place as many of its congregants have children, something my old congregation didn't have. The staff is well qualified and the religious school is getting better especially with the recent hiring of a new education director with more credentials. My kids have learned much more than I did when I was their age. There are youth groups who do fun stuff, learn about holidays and raise money for charity. It's not without its politics, but what shul is? The congregation is working to make space... but we're growing faster than the space.

PROS: Many families, many kids, education
CONS: Preschool pricey, space
