Elisabet Ney Museum

On a whim I accompanied my mother-and-law and kids to this small, delightful studio-turned-museum. Great place for a day trip--with kids, or without--very interesting slice of history, not to mention the fabulous plaster casts of many of European-turned-Texan Elisabet Ney's statues. Hyde Park setting makes for easy parking, and museum admission is free.
