They have had my 1988 Bronco for over Month, telling me weekly when it will be completed by, after every date given I have had to call to find out why it is not completed. So i call today to find out why I did not get a call on Monday 04/04/2016, The manager tells me a part has not come in, I asked if he asked for a tracking number to verify where it is, he said he could have but did not, then he proceeded to inform me he will call me when he has more information but he does not know when that would be. All this after he asked me to pay for the truck repair in advance, he also asked if i could pay for it in cash? and I had to pull some of my own parts that they could not track down Now I'm getting my truck back after a Month in the shop, not fully repaired, paid in full and with the Manager blowing me off again

Business Response:

Charles brought his 1988 Bronco into the shop....for an engine replacement and the work was done by Rockwall Brake and Muffler that leases bays in the back of my shop..... The concerns are with Johnny that owns Rockwall Brake and muffler..... After Charles got a hold of me with his concerns and realizing I was not involved with their operation..... I worked with him to get the problems solved and his vehicle back to him from Johnny in a timely matter.......... Sparky

In May of this year my elderly parents who are on social security called and said their 2003 Ford Taurus quit pulling in the WalMart parking lot. I checked the car and it would not move either way like it was in nuetral. I called around to at least 6 shops with the price to overhaul the transmission from $2300 to a guy at a shop that would not give me a price or an idea till he towed it in and looked at it. I called Sparky at Lonestar Transmission and he asked me a lot of questions and if the fluid was full and what color it was, and after speaking with me he thought it was the Torque Converter that had stripped the splines and that he could replace it and service the transmission for $675.00 I was afraid that this was just a ploy to get me to bring it in and then spring a large repair on me. He said that if the converter didn't repair the problem, he wouldn't charge me anything. So I had the car towed that Monday morning and by Tuesday at 2:00pm my parents were picking up their car working perfectly for $675.41... He even showed me the old converter and the stripped splines. Sparky and his shop has our families business from now on.

Aug 28 10 Lonestar pick-up my ford F150 form Rockwall Ford because they wanted to charge me $4000 dollars to fix my trans. Sparkie quoted to me that he could fix it for $1100 dollars, two days later as promise they fix as good as new. I highly recommend LoneStar, I'll be back to have them do my brakes, shocks, ect; Finely a company that keeps there word and do good work.
Thank you.

I recently had transmission issues in my 2001 Camry. My husband and I initially had our car towed to another transmission shop (Eagle Transmission in Mesquite) and had a horrible experience there. Just when I had reached the end of my rope with Eagle, I started calling around for other estimates and got in touch with Sparky at Lonestar Transmissions. He was familiar with Eagle and their high pressure sales techniques. He talked me through how to deal with them and when Eagle would not work with me, he quoted the same work that Eagle was providing and came in over $600 cheaper!!! He even provided the estimate in writing. I will call him first from now on and promised to recommend him to all of my friends. He is up front, honest, and easy to deal with - definitely talk with him if you have any transmission issues!
