Hasta La Pasta

We went in Saturday evening for dinner because we had seen this place advertised in the Katy magazines. We were very pleasantly surprised how wonderful the food was, the staff was extremely attentative, and the place looks like a 4 star

Wonderful atmosphere and nice dining experience, great entertainment when they have it. The problem is a little pricey for such small somewhat bland quantities of food. With a little more pizzazz and a little more food and this place rates higher.

Must say the food was better than expected. We can normally get in without a wait. Very enjoyable.

The dining experience at Hasta la Pasta is perfect. Not only is the waitstaff friendly, but my server attended to every detail. It was like dining at a 5-star restaurant with a budget-friendly, family-oriented price range.

I have ordered pans of food to-go from this location many times and have had the restaurant cater for several of my events. Their pricing is very reasonable and comparable to other restaurants in the area.

I suggest Hasta la Pasta to all my friends and family and recommend it highly. The quiet wine rooms offer a great place to have parties and/or meetings.

I am a local hotelier in the area, and have enjoyed Hasta La Pasta myself, many times. But, speaking from the hotel side, I choose to recommend this restaurant as the Italian Restaurant in the area for two reasons, SERVICE is impeccible, and food is DELICIOUS! I can be assured that every guest I send there will both enjoy it TREMENDOUSLY, and I know that they will get a filling meal.

They ARE my Italian recommendation, and they ARE local, which makes it a nice change for every traveler!

My husband and I have been here many times, and I love this place! My favorite dish there is the veal marsala. It is incredible, the best I have ever had. The portions are generous, enough that I am stuffed stupid by the end of the meal. The atmosphere is also nice, especially on Saturday nights when they have a band playing. It's a very romantic sort of a place to eat, even if it is located in a strip mall.

Service is great! The Veal and Chicken Masala with roasted potatoes are the best I have ever tasted! Also, don't forget their Ceaser Salad and hot rolls with butter. I compare it to the Ceaser Salad I used to make table side at Brennan's Restaurant in Houston. Keep up the good work!

We've tried this place a few times and each time the food is just too bland for Italian. I notice they're good at marketing and seem to participate in charity organizations in the community. I like that and for that reason I want to see them do well, but if they read these reviews, will you please improve the quality and flavor of your food. Use some FRESH garlic and vegetables. We may try a lunch again someday because I like their activeness in our community.

What can I say, Other then I was surpised at the above reviews.
My husband and I really like the Hast La Pasta, The stuffed mushrooms are fantastic, my husband always gets the Filet Da Vinci, and is always very pleased with it. We like the family feel of the restaurant and the staff.

I did not go to this location, but I can say that the location North, near Intercontinental Airpot, was to die for. The flavors were amazing and I loved the selection of wine on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant, hopefully this Katy location hasn't ruined it for the other one.

If you truly want the worst food and service, check out Hasta La Pasta. Has to be the worst food I have ever eaten. I hated it soo much, nobody would belive this!

My husband and I decided to try Hasta la Pasta awhile back after hearing great things from family and friends. It is located in the shopping center with Kroger and Hollywood Video just off Grand Parkway and Highland Knolls.

We didn't know what to expect, but were a bit surprised when we walked through the door because it wasn't what we expected at all. Even though it is in a strip shopping center, once you walk inside, it looks like a nice Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is great and you could go dressy or casual and still fit right in.

When you are seated, you get complimentary bread and pesto sauce. I loved it! We also got spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. It was HUGE. You could easily make a meal out of the appetizer, and we ate so much that we didn't really have room left for our food and so we took most of it home. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was tasty that night and the next day when I ate the leftovers. We were impressed with the service, as well. Our waiter was constantly checking up on us and kept our drinks filled throughout the time that we were there.

Their prices are reasonable and comparable with Olive Garden. They often have coupons for buy one meal, get one free that come in the mail and they also have a coupon in the Entertainment book.

I've been there several times and the food is just mediocre. The sauce is a bit runny for my tastes. No great taste experiences here.

Nice little italian place off the grand parkway. The food is always good. Their specials are usually the best thing to order, never been disappointed in one. On the first weekend of the month they have a jazz band in the wine cellar, which is a nice touch. I would say the prices are average, same as like going to Chilli's. Restaurant is nice clean and pretty.

Located close to Katy Mills Mall, this Italian cuisine is not to be missed. Every dish I have tried there has been subperb. Their pesto dressing on the salads - YUM! You must give them a try.

Hasta la Pasta is a great restraunt. The food is good, maybe a little too heavy on the garlic sometimes though. I like my garlic a little more chopped than the entire pod. On the whole, I enjoyed my visit.

Hasta la Pasta has always been so nice and accomidating when it comes to their back room for parties and for catering days. They are a kid friendly place and have always welcomed my family with open arms. The parking is not always the best but all in all, it is a great experience.

Wonderful food & atmosphere! Very afforable Italian food with yummy bread! This is a casual dining restaurant with elegant touches. It is good for families or couples. Their grilled salmon is especially good and I love their Tiramasu!
