Everything IRISH (the country/heritage, not Notre Dame!) you could want is here! Great Irish imports -- everything from fine china to Guinness gear!

However, customer service could be improved; we did a large special order for bridesmaid/groomsmen gifts for our St. Patrick's Day wedding; it took months longer than promised (the order barely made it in time), AND they raised the price without telling us (even though we had the paperwork with the contracted price & put down a deposit). When we questioned this, the owner wasn't even apologetic -- instead, she went on and on and on about how she was doing US a favor for even handling the order!

This is a great irish store and has everything you can think of. It has friendly employees and a great selection (kind of pricey though). Afterwards, enjoy a drink at Murphys Irish Pub on King Street too!

My boss is a proud Irishman and whenever I want something special for him I can find it at the Irish Walk in Old Town, Alexandria. It is an adorable store (conveniently located near an Irish Pub) that sells music, decorations, clothing, books and all kinds of speciality items with historic significance to Irish heritage. Some of the items are a little pricey, but they are extremely unique.
