This is one of the best nursery I have ever seen

I go down to Mclean Virginia every December for business trips. Every time I go, I must stop by Merrifield Garden Center. They have the best Christmas accessories anywhere. Recently I found out that they also have a website www.MerrifieldGardenCenter.com. Now I can buy at Merrifield whether I??m in New York or Virginia. Thanks Merrifield.

I??ve purchased pesticides and herbicides from merrifieldgardencenter.com and I can say that their customer service has been nothing but superb. The few times I??ve had weed and insect crisis and ask their customer services representatives for help, they quickly transferred me to a so call ??plant clinic? where a highly knowledgeable representative helped me, and recommended some great products. Best of all they offer great products like Bonide!!!!!!!! Five Stars for Customer Service.

I do not have a green thumb, so I needed more than most employees at Home Depot can give me, I need real expert advice. I got it at Merrifield Garden Center. They have good staff who understand my plans and really give me very complete advice about starting a garden and general landscaping. I even for advice on just house plants. They are more expensive than a Home Depot type place, but with the higher advice comes a bigger selection, better advice, and higher quality plants. They also have a large selection of advanced landscaping implements, like lawn ornaments.

Our front yards landscaping service was done by Merrifield garden center. They have really qualified professionals, they provide in-home estimates for about $50, which they credited back after purchase of their service of more than $500. The designer came to home and they consulted our needs and budget and devised a customized plan for our garden. They did the complete brick and timber work, and took care of planting the bushes, plants and bulbs of our choice and mulching. The cost was a bit expensive, but the level of service was amazing. We can also setup a yearly plan, where they come in each year during the spring and take care of the garden. But we didn't select that service due to high cost.

I'm no green thumb, but you wouldn't be able to tell from my garden on the side of my house! I came in, described some of my likes, and got great recommendations from a knowledgeable staff. They took twenty minutes to explain how to care for three plants so they would survive. If I ever have a problem, I can snap a digital picture and they instantly know what's going awry and how to solve the issue. I love them!!!

I would highly recommend Merrifield's for all your gardening needs. I have a black thumb when it comes to gardening and so I have been using Merrifield's for years. They are family owned and operating, and boy, does this make a huge difference! The staff is extremely friendly and always goes out of their way to help me select the right plants, but also tells me how to properly care for them once I take them home. They are a bit out of the way, but other than that, they are great.

This place has quality plants and great and knowledgeable staff. They are also willing to help you with your needs. It is a little out of the way for us, but worth the drive. Definitely recommend!

Family run business that is very knowledgeable, and offers a large selection of items. Very helpful staff; will offer professional assistance for problems you describe to them with regard to your plants at home. The pansies I got a few weeks ago were HUGE, and are of very good quality.

I have been going to Merrifield Garden for years. I is about a 10 miles drive for us now, but several times a year I do visit and am always satisfied. I usually have many questions, that are answered honestly. I never feel like I am being sold and have received recommendations on what not to buy. Which I appreciated. Two thumbs up for Merrifield.

Merrifield Garden Center in Alexandria is located very conveniently near the Dunn Loring Metro Center. Very metro accessible to people who live in DC, MD, VA. The trip is worth it. They know a lot of about different types of plants and carry indoor plants and pots. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Recommended to anyone in the DC area.

The staff is very helpful and explain in great depth any thing you want to know. They help you chose the right kinds of plants for your garden . They help out if one has a problem with the foliage - just take a sample to them and they explain the problem and give you a solution.

Merrifield Garden Center is a great place to shop for plants and landscaping products and services. The employees are very knowledgable about the varieties of plants and trees and their proper care. Their prices are reasonable and I have never had a negative experience there.

We used Merrifield to design our landscaping in our yard and I would recommend them to anyone. Not only was the design in our budget but it met all the criteria we requested (easy to maintain, etc.). They also guarantee their plants - - which is great. Just a super experience!

The staff at the Merrifield Garden Center are very knowledgeable about plants. I have been in on numerous occasions with many questions about plants/gardening and they are always able to provide a reassuring answer. The quality of their plants is great. I have have great success with the plantings I have purchased from the. They have a wonderful selection of gardening accessories, as well.
