T & R AUTOMOTIVE CENTER

I recently took my Audi to T&R for some work on the engine. Until then, Royal Motors had been servicing my car for 8 years. Royal Motors always charged a ton of money, even for minor repairs.

T&R fixed my car the same day. I do not know what the mechanics did, but my car runs better than ever. T&R charged me much less than what Royal Motors estimated for the repairs. I trust T8R and I feel like I finally found THE place for maintaining my car.

I always pass California street and saw so many exclusive cars like ferrari and other european cars and I think maybe the technicians of this station are profesional and I will try one time for my car 1991 VW Jetta.
And it is true, if I compare to dealer, I save a lot of money because dealer charged me more expensive in labor. The service of this station is great, on time and the people also very nice & polite, one of my best friend also said the same when he has his electrical problem for his BMW 525i.

I've had minor work done on my 2003 Audi A4 there...definitely better value than the dealership. Convenient location as well.

Seems like a good shop. Only thing is, to get the 10% discount on labor, they made me write this review before getting my truck back. Defeats the whole purpose of rating. I certainly hope it's a five star rating. And after getting my truck back, it is, and I can come back in here and give them a proper rating, I will.

I was planning to go to Tahoe on a Friday and had a serious problem with the brakes on my Merecedes SUV. I knew if I take it to the dealer it was going to stay there for several days. Based on a friend's recommedation, I took it to T&R Automotive center. These guys are great. Not only they fixed the problem the same day, but also checked out the car and made sure it is suitable to drive in the snow, Great service. Saved my trip to Tahoe!!!! Thank you T&R . Will come back with all my service needs.!!!!

I have been repairing my car at T&R Automotive center for 4 years. As a copnsumer, it is important to recognize exeptional services and expertise. I have been extremely satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the crew at this repair shop. I strongly recommend it.

Best and most professional Repair facility I have been to. Better service than the dealership. Tony took care of my M5 BMW and found things that the dealership had missed. The attention to detail at T & R is rare to find. Finally I found a repair facility that treats my car like one of their own. Every porblem and issue was pointed out and shown to me before the work was done. Very professional. I highly recommend this repair facility. They even carry all the original oil , coolant and fluids for my M5.

I own a 2003 MBZ S500. A friend of mine suggested that I should try servicing it at T & R 76 instead of the dealer. I decided to give this facility a try, and I was amazed at the level of expertise that they have. T & R 76 technicians were very precise and efficient in diagnosing the check engine light problem and were able to repair the problem within the same day. My car would have stayed at the dealership for several days for a similar issue. Thank you T & R 76, I will surely recommend you to my friends!!

This is a follow up on my previous review.

My Ferrari required its first major service based on time and miles. Tony performed the service flawlessly and discovered some potential problems and corrected them before they resulted in any damage.

While the work was not inexpensive, it was an investment in the proper care of a high pedigree automobile.

Tony and I have developed a close working knowledge with my car as I had originally hoped for. I would have never received this quality of service at a dealer's service department.

First Review:
I just bought a Ferrari and wanted to find a qualified mechanic who be my personal mechanic. Keeping a Ferrari in good mechanic order is an investment with the dealer charging $1,000's for routine repairs. Since my car is out of warranty I prefer Tony's knowledge and real world experience over the factory's recommendations.

Tony's prices are considerable lower than dealer prices and I am confident that Tony will develop a close and full understanding of my car along with all its quirks that an exotic car always has.

A huge benefit of using Tony is I can always call him on his cell phone if I need instant advice or service.

I highly recommend Tony for Exotic car service.

Tony is the master when it comes to working on ultra high-end cars! His work on my both my 2003 & 2005 Ferrari's (my babies!) was precise, to OEM factory specs and at an extremely fair price. Don't let his location fool you ... he's got all the factory workbooks and diagnostic tools to work on late-model high-end cars ... Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Bentley's and Aston Martin's ... to name a few!

I HAVE BEEN SERVICENG MY 3 CARS AT THIS FACILITY FOR MORE THAN 4 YEARS. HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK AND THE TURNAROUND TIME. IF YOU OWN A CAR AND NEED ANY MECHANICAL WORK, TRY THIS FACILITY, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

These guys know what they are doing. They are experts in European cars. I did not think it was poosible for my 7 year BMW to run as good as it did after they serviced it. Thank you for making my ride so much more enjoyable.

The check engine light drove me crazy. I had been struggling with this issue on my Volvo for 8 months. Finally I took my vehicle to T & R 76. After 3 hours!! I got an exact estimate and diagnosis for the problem, and my issue was sloved. I has been 3 weeks, and the check engine light has never come back on. Thank you T&R for taking care of my car. Will recommnend you to all my friends.

My car wouldn't start, so I called the insurance's tow company, which brought me to T&R. They said they'd try to charge my battery and to come back later. When I came back, they went ahead and replaced the battery without my permission, and charged me $120 for the tow (insurance paid this), $130 for the battery + $40 labor! I said no, put my old battery back. They said that this was the only battery that fit my car (a Honda Accord?!?!) and that my car wouldn't start otherwise. Well, I said jump me them, that'll get me to a Sears. They said it would take an HOUR to put the old battery in. I said I'd watch then. Lo and behold, it took less than 15 minutes. AND my car started with no problems. I went to Sears and got a brand new battery for less than $90 for everything. I will never go back to this place again.

I think the Citysearch editors need to actually bring their own vehicle in to have work done. They won't be so positive afterwards. This place scares me. It's in my neighborhood and all I needed was a smog check and an oil change. They failed me for the smog check and then tried to sell me on repairs. When I said no thanks, I felt that the guy was trying to intimidate me because I'm a woman. I got out of there quick! And to top it off, I took it to another 76 station (on 19th) and I passed the smog check. Imgaine that!!

Do yourself a favor and go to someone else. These guys charge way too much and always looks to take advantage of people in order to squeeze extra money out of work they do. They seem to round up when they determine labor costs and they do very poor work. I asked them to replace my dashboard clock - and not only did they end up saying the couldn't do it - but they left a permanent scratch on my dash. To say the least I was very unsatisfied.

Total scam - anyone who posts a review here that is positive must be affiliated with this shop somehow. PLEASE - do yourself a favor and don't bring your car here for anything - especially something relatively minor. They will screw you. The main guy here - don't know his name, but he's the tall one - is very unfriendly. I had a previously poor experience - essentially too expensive, but I made the mistake of bring my car back because my driver seat got jammed and I couldn't budge it. I dropped it off and came back 45 minutes later. It looked like my seat was fixed, but no one was working on it - the mechanics were not on site for some reason...maybe lunch or something. I sat there for 25 minutes until they came back - and the charge was $160!! And all he did was unjam it and lubricate it. When I challenged the price and the length of time it was worked on - the tall guy became irate and basically told me to F*** off. He told me he should have charged me $200 more (huh?!?!?). He actually said he should have charged me for parts....PARTS!?!?? There were no parts involved at all. When I asked him what parts - he turned away and walked to the back of the shop and ignored me. These guys are a total scam - avoid at all costs.

Failed me for a smog check and then tried to charge for repairs. Took the vehicle to another shop and the vehicle passed!!! Do not trust anyone who fails your smog check and tries to charge you for repairs!

I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH MY VEHICLE'S PERFORMANCE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FOR 7 MONTH. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES AND THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER FIXED. IT WOULD HESITATE AND BACKFIRE ON ACCELERATION. THE DEALERSHIP SOLUTION WAS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS AND THE COMPUTER FOR A PRICE OF $2800. A FRIEND OF MINE RECOMMNED IT THAT I TAKE IT TO T&R 76! WITHIN ONE DAY THEY DIAGNOSED A PROBLEM IN ONE OF THE COIL WIRES THAT WAS CAUSING ALL THESE ISSUES, AND REPAIRED IT FOR $350. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR ANY OF YOUR CAR NEEDS.

I had an ectremely difficult situtation with an electrical problem with my BMW. After visiting 3 shops with no solution, the technicians at T&R 76 were able to solve the problem wihtin the same day. I recommend this repair facility for their expertise and knowlegde. Thank you T&R
