I'm always amazed at the items that can be found at a dollar store. This is a great place to look for any odd item you find yourself needing but don't think you'll be using for a long time. In otherwords, the quality isn't terriffic but it will do for a short time. I recently found myself in need of a rubber mallet to put a shelving system together. I didn't want to pay the price a hardware store would have asked, but I was able to find it here. It may not last for years, but I was able to complete the project and only pay $1.
