35th Street Bistro

The food here is great, and so is the atmosphere. Close to the heart of fremont, you can always plan to go out somewhere after dinner so it's very convenient. The short-rib I had was amazing and so was the poutine(although it could've used more gravy.)

We went here just before the Solstice Parade, and were delighted by the new style, the tasty brunch food. I had a ham and egg dish, which was delicious. My boyfriend had a breakfast sandwich. Juice was fresh and coffee delicious. We sat outside on the patio, which was very pleasant.

Perhaps The 35th St. Bistro has improved ten fold since the last reviewer commented on this restaurant, but having been recently, I must say the food is wonderful, the service personable and the ambience / atmosphere refreshing, green, open and warm - an interesting combination and balance to strike. Try their burger! Their dinner menu is very good - we only had the Ravioli, the Boulbaisse, and a burger, but it was all on par w/ the other top restaurants in the area...and in a comforting venue. Great little neighborhood, too...

the term "bistro" is most often referred to a
breakfast, lunch or brunch type of restaurant. quite
strangely, this bistro does not serve up to its
excellency. okay, there is a breakfast, lunch and
dinner. the breakfast and lunch, i expected, would be
tittilating to my tongue. however, no, not of that
sort. rather, the breakfast and lunch menu was very
ordinary, and i know that i could have cooked the
simple items myself. i must give a little plus to its
dinner menu. still ordinary, but at least tasty. and
the ambiance makes you feel that the food would be
worthy. nope nope nope. not of that sort. i believe
that either the decor should be played down or the
food should be made better.
