I'm 4.5 months post-op from an abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift, and liposuction below buttocks & lower back and have had AMAZING results. I am thin and in good shape. But after gaining 50-60 pounds with each of my three pregnancies and breastfeeding 3 children, my skin had been stretched to its limit. I researched over 100 different doctors, met with 12 individually, and finally selected Dr. Platis. I am thrilled that I did. He helped to repair my body while enhancing other parts. He really listened to me and worked hard to create the results I desired. I wanted breasts that looked natural and were not too large. All of my friends have commented on how natural my breasts look and now want them. I wanted a stomach with a low scar that would also show my muscle tone. I started to see definition after 6 weeks. My scar is so low that I can wear almost any bikini bottom. From a recovery standpoint, the first 2 weeks were tough, but then I recovered very quickly. I was working out again after 6 weeks. I probably asked Dr. Platis a million questions pre and post-op. It didn't matter the time of day or the question, Dr. Platis has always been beyond patient and has regarded me with respect and understanding. Some surgeons often are unreachable and regard their patients with an air of superiority. Not Dr. Platis. Kate helped me with scheduling and other logistics regarding the surgery. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and super accommodating. Lisa works the reception desk and is wonderful, as well. If you live anywhere in the Chicagoland area, I highly recommend Dr. Platis.

I first met Dr. Platis approx. 6 years ago when I was looking to get a breast augmentation. I had done my research thoroughly as I was not new to Plastic Surgery and new what to look for. I had one previous consultation with a recommended doctor and did not like him at all. Met with another who was so-to-say "known" as the "Boob Doctor" of Chicago, and what a BOOB he turned out to be, he missed my appointment and then called to offer a discount, NO Thank you. Then I went to see Dr. Platis; upon my arrival I was greeted by his wonderful staff, they offered me water and made me feel comfortable, they had me fill out my information. As I went to sit down after turning in my papers not a second went by when Dr. Platis presented himself to me and said he was ready, unheard of for doctors; impressed and an immediate star. I told him that I had had lipo in the past and was looking to get a breast augmentation. He was thorough and very attentive to my questions and concerns, he advised me on a natural approach, the tear drop, saline implant: PERFECT. My husband wanted to meet with him for a second consultation as he was not there on the first and Dr. Platis was more than accommodating. I went ahead with my procedure; he was there when I recovered, he called to check on my well being, he took care of me as if I were family. I could not be more happy today with my results. My breast look amazing, they don't look like implants, they look natural. I have seen Dr.Platis for a revised liposuction on my hips and thighs and a tummy tuck, ALL done impeccably. I would NEVER think of referring anyone to anyone else other than Dr.Platis, he is truly a man of Character. I look better today at 45 than I did 15 years ago and feel better with who I am, Thank You Dr. Platis

I can't say enough about Dr Platis and his staff. I made sure I did all my research and got referrals from 2 others that had prior surgery done from Dr Platis. I did get an initial consult within 2 weeks in his Indiana office. At my initial consult Dr Platis spent a half hour with my husband and I. He answered all our questions ,concerns and was informative on what would be my best options for the results I wanted. The pre op surgery consult was the same and he spent just as much time answering any more questions I might of had. I might add his office lady was wonderful and polite. The whole pre op surgery process went quite smoothly and the Surgery Center staff was wonderful too. The day of the surgery Dr Platis again took the time to answer anymore questions and took the time to explain what was about to happen. After surgery he did call me at home to check on me. I had called him twice during the healing process with some concerns and he was very understanding and returned my calls promptly. In the beginning of this whole process I was in search of a Plastic Surgeon that was a perfectionist and I must say Dr Platis is just that. The technique he uses for the tummy tuck that some other doctors don't use are by far better and less painful. I am 3 mos post op and my body is beautiful. My tummy and breast look as if they are 20 again. The best advice I can give is you get what you pay for. Even though another doctor might be cheaper make sure you check on what you are getting for your money. I would highly recommend Dr Platis if you are considering a Tummy Tuck, Muscle Repair, Brease Lift, Breast Augmentation or Lipo. My results are amazing.

Dr. Platis and his staff made me feel so comfortable at my consultation. I saw quite a few different surgeons once I decided to have surgery and his office was so much better in every way than all the others. He listened to me and took the time to really understand my concerns. I am thrilled with my results and will be a lifelong patient.
