Abergel, R Patrick, Md - Dermatology & Cosmetic Laser

My husband said he loved me the way I was before I had my stupid eye bags removed. Well then why does he seem more attentive ever since I had my bags removed by Dr. R. Patrick Abergel? I think I do look a lot younger. Two girlfriends noticed right away. Actually, one had the same procedure. I never had a cosmetic procedure before, but this first one was easy. Dr. Abergel and his staff were all caring and understanding. He took his time and answered everything I asked. He has that charming French personality. The anesthesiologist was so sweet. My OB/GYN gave thumbs up when he heard me mention Dr. Abergels name. He's got great credentials. What also was great was that the procedure took only a half hour or so. No pain or hurting afterwards. Have to admit it's nice to get fresh compliments from friends and co-workers. .. "You look so rested." "What did you do?" Boy, if only they knew. Hubby's taking me out for dinner again. Not bad.

If you're looking for a high-level dermatologist, I thoroughly recommend Dr. Abergel. You'll see his name in many of the beauty magazines; he does great work. In addition to laser treatments and Botox, he also offers cosmetic surgery. I found him very professional, and highly experienced. He is expensive though

i was treated with care and kindness. from the moment you walk in the door, there is someone there to make you feel good and answer your most sensitive questions.

Two of my close friends got eye lifts from other doctors because of cost issues. In my opinion, Dr. Abergel may be priced a little higher, but the results are lasting. I am living proof of that.

I only went to a consultation a few years ago and I must say my experience was great, the doctor was very patient, explained everything to me and I left very happy knowing when I am ready for my eyelid surgery, it would be Dr Abergel my choice. I also want to mention Maria, she is amazing, friendly and very professional.

I forgot to mention the anesthesiologist was also very professional and I didn't have major affects after surgery.

What I really like about Dr. Abergel is his personal touch. I never feel like he is rushing to see another patient. He always takes the time to discuss my concerns and find out exactly what I want to accomplish with my visit. The results I see from the procedures are always very natural.

Dr. Abergel is a kind, honest and sympathetic doctor. Other cosmetic surgeons with whom I've consulted were arrogant, inpatient and lacked sympathy for their patients. Dr. Abergel only recommended procedures that would benefit me personally.

After seeing how good my best friend looks after a "mini-facelift" from Dr. Abergel in Santa Monica, I am thinking of getting one. I'm fighting the approach of 50 too and my face is losing. My friend saw two other doctors who wanted to do full face lifts. Dr. Abergel's "mini" was much less invasive and Sharon looked great after a week. The funniest thing was that a couple of our mutual friends thought she had taken a vacation because she looked "so rested and relaxed." (They didn't know about her little procedure). We both first checked his credentials-top notch. He also finds time to teach as a professor at USC medical school. Too bad he's married. Oh well.

I had a miniface lift and upper eyelids done recently...overpriced, well, I don't believe so. I did get what I paid for and much more then I had expected. He has exceeded my expectations and I am loving my results.

I'm a patient of Dr. Abergel's and had a mini facelift and upper/lower eyelid surgery last year. Yes, Dr. Abergel might be expensive but it he does amazing work. I was a little nervous about having the surgery but he and the girls in the office made me feel so comfortable. My recovery was quick and I'm very excited about my results!! I'm so happy, it was well worth every penny I paid:)

The mini-face lift was extremely expensive and the results were minimal. I can't believe after spending over $20,000 that I didn't have better results. I took pictures of myself, before and after, and honestly, I can't see a difference. Dr Abergel's procedure is overpriced and his advertising is misleading. I would not recommend this procedure or this doctor.
